I remember Vice City being my first ps2 game when my friend from down the street got a ps2 without saying anything and we called it "The game with the thief" because we didnt speak English/knew the games name. They probably wouldn’t just remaster the graphics but they’d have to change how most thing in all 3 games work to apply such an upgrade so simply paying others to do the work for you would be more profitable and require less work from them overall

And Rockstar Games isn't just some small indie dev studio with no money, they and Take-Two are earning millions from GTA Online's micro-transactions, and all of their big games are hits with chart-breaking sales. They could've just remade the games from the ground up if they tried, but that's not what they want. They are way too greedy and all they want is a quick paycheck, so a quality product is out of their mind. Also, you must be out of your mind if you think handing a remaster work of some of the most beloved games of all time to a mobile game studio is a good idea. That may not be what you think, but I've seen people who are completely okay with that and it baffles me.

I played this game soooooo much on PS2 as a kid. I didn’t understand how to do missions or anything so I just drove around the map (trying not to run people over with the clunky controls 🥲), listened to the music, and chilled.
