The realistic weapons sounds feels more exaggerated than it should be, including the echoes. Looking at the guns, especially the pistols sounds. They sound like a rifle firing compared to an actual pistol.

Guns are loud. Also, pistols are usually louder than rifles due to the short barrel. More powder burning in the atmosphere.

The gun sounds its very good BUT❗️ the bullet impact and ricochet sound its a shit! its seems that you are firing a piece of 🧽 sponge or foam or a BB plastic air gun. Killing half of the immersion ❗️ this neglected aspect occur in almost all shooter games like: CSGO , ARMA 3 , BF and Cod ( all version) ready or not, SCUM, World war Z , ground branch, insurgency sandstorm, GTA V , no more room in hell, and so many other shooter games that SAY PRAISE for realism! Exception = ESCAPE FROM TARKOV , RDR2 and Hunt Showdown❗️

tbh the sounds from vanilla is more than fine imo. the problem is that they lack reverb like in real life your sound would bounce on everything. the downtown shooting from the movie heat is one of the best examples. so if u ask me the weapon sounds are fine. they just need to tweak the reverb to match your surroundings

@@KillerCruiser its to create the ilussion of the gun firing faster than what it actually does. Take the AK in GTA V, it sound like it fires fast, but mute the sound and you will see how slow it shoots

I'll be honest, only the stun gun sounds better. All the other guns in the mod make indoor firing sounds, are loud (not punchy loud, just the low quality kind of loud), and are tremendously out of place with the game. You could put these in RDR2 or Ready Or Not and they'd still be out of place. Hard pass.
