Ned Luke is deaf on his right ear in real life. The fact that Rockstar managed to put a small detail in game that Trevor shot someone close to Michael's right ear in the prologue made all of Ned's real life mannerisms (like when talking to someone he always angle to his left ear) natural for Michael. Small things like that are very impressive.
