extra fun fact: instead of generating lift by having air move over a wing faster than below it, planes in gta instead create antigravity in order to fly this is why when you turn off gravity with a mod you can no longer fly or even control your plane

I don't think it is feasible to create a full airflow over wing system for games (unless creating something like physics engine) it's better to use components of air like drag vector so when the plane catches speed the gravity vector decreases and when there are no gravity vector then there will be nothing to decrease

Another fun fact I found out If you are in a plane or helicopter, jump out, then use a mod to teleport back in, that vehicle will permanently be stuck spinning out of control no matter what

If you are in a chopper with a friend and he dies in any-way the chopper will begin to spin, and even if you manage to get on the controls it still spins and crashes

1:26 this right here reminds me of one of the reasons I quit this game. People using the cool vehicles with cool utilities to complete the online business missions is supposed to be how the game works. The choice to remove player's ability to do this was bizarre and so anti-player that it honestly, felt like they were trying to say 'Fuck you' to the playerbase without actually saying fuck you.

fun fact: using a vigilante’s rear booster, you can launch cars into walls and will occasionally explode. Funnily enough, doing it near cops will actually cause them to be spooked and run away like a normal NPC would

Online helicopter fact. Get in a buzzard, get a little bit of height, make sure you aren't moving forward/backwards, make sure you're sitting still in the air. Open the pause menu and slowly scroll through your friends list, for some reason it sounds like someone is hitting your helicopter blades. Hover over a friend and it makes the noise, go down one, it makes the sound again, scroll fast and it sounds terrifying

I've always wondered about flying a plane into a safehouse but switching characters a couple seconds before the impact just to see what sounds or rumbling comes from a plane smashing into the roof I'm under. Never have tried it tho.

I also find it interesting that the blimp has the metal parts you see after it explodes already visible when the camera is clipped inside. I would have assumed there'd be no metal inside, or at least metal that isn't bent and broken prior to it exploding. 14:57

2:20 love how his voice fades away lol The cargobob is my favoruite vehicle in gta. it can also pick up dynamic objects from missions if you spawn them in. such as hectors trailer. i can also lift the bulldozer if you fully raise the bucket. it used to be able to lift the big dump truck but they nerfed the engine power. the mammoth plane that looks like a small cessna, appears to be a two seater plane. but is infact 4 seats. you can get your friends in the back but they have to wait a few seconds to warp into the plane since there are no doors for the rear seats. if you land a plane with a broken engine or simply the engine of. but you get a friend to push you off say, mount chilliad. you can still take of and fly normally without engine power. none of the helicopters in gta have a collective. the collective is normally where the engine start buttons are aswell as throttle. so none of the helicopters in gta can start of throttle their engines. if you enter as a passenger in the merrywheater helicopter in online. and position your marker just right on one of the tall buildings. it is possible to rappel down the side of the building. eventually you will run out of rope thoug. this sometimes happens on cliffs and bridges aswell.

extra fun fact, I am a pilot and ICAO does state that low flight over golf courses is prohibited with the exception of written permission from your authority like CASA or the FAA. This is because the fields are incredibly well suited for Forced Landings and PSLs so the airspace is to be kept clear and clean at all times, and in some cases particularly in America it can result in military actions
