I just hope rockstar will be just as unapologetic with their humor and political satire like they were in gta4. The tv commercials, talk show radios, certain advertisement textures were crazy in gta 4. I found that they kinda toned it down in gta 5. I hope that’s not the case here with gta 6. For example I remember they had to remove a trans poster texture from the game of gta 5 recently.

That’s too far into realism no? I mean first of all you’re not really fist fighting most of the time so I can’t see how it can “ruin the game”.While yes these characters are grounded, don’t forget how they can take 50 bullets and still be fine, so fist fighting strength is not really that big of a problem as long as it’s not a 1 hit K.O or something to keep some type of realism.

@@bab6203 it's a balance...but she shouldn't be the same as Jason. I get the impression that theyve got it right. But seeing is believing. It's like fueling. Fueling a whip once or twice a (real) day...could present some awesome side activities. Over spamming that would be bad. I been a GTA guy from day one...GTA 1. This is quite possibly the last GTA we get. It's def the last with the old crew as most of them have departed.

@@user-qz3pf7mw7f I get what you mean, I do think that Jason should be better physically (like more strength, stamina, and shooting, maybe something like Michael’s ability or bullet time in max Payne) and Lucia should be more technological (Being able to break into cars better, planning heists, hacking,and maybe a driving ability like Franklin’s). I do believe that this will be the last gta game, because we had the 2d verse, 3d, and now hd, I don’t think we will be getting any new gtas in the next 15 years after the game comes out, I feel like massive new innovations would have to be made for such to be justified.

Gta 6 will 100% go woke heres why while I do not know how woke it'll be it will definitely not be as funny or edgy like the other gta games Rockstar have already censored many things from gta 5 like flags or Transphobic jokes and in the online dlc that released in December last year Yusuf amir returned and as expected he wasn't as funny or edgy like he used to be but I don't think gta 6 will go super woke like the other games nowadays but as I said it will not be like the other gta games and will probably only have soft jokes I have concerns about Lucia I don't dislike her because she's not a white male I have other concerns about her like if she will be a boss girl that cannot be touched or defeated I will definitely have issues with that because I'm so tired of those kind of characters

my main concern is that making fun of minorities and making wild jokes is kind of a classic thing in the grand theft auto franchise that makes it what it is today. in gta 4 there was some crazy stuff like calling florian the f slur. and they've already started dialing back on it. we've even seen some rockstar censoring in gta 5, for example. there was a cut line from trevor where he calls franklin the n word. there was another patch more recently covering up a conferederate flag. and some things in the trailer just look concerning at first glance. like with Lucia and Jason, people aren't mad that we have our first female protagonist, that's great, but it feels woke when you put a confident woman next to a guy like Jason, who doesn't seem very confident. there's also the fact that a lot of the stuff from the trailer happened in real life, so it feels like instead of the series being a satire it has come full circle with them not even needing to try to make up stuff, as modern day life feels like a joke. all of this to say, we know dan houser wrote gta 6 before he left, and i don't think rockstar would mess up a game that is this special to them. they know what they're doing, so we can trust them. sorry for the yapping session

On the matter of: will gta 6 be a comedy or take a more serious tone? I think that Jason and Lucia will have a more serious tone and story around them, definitely more than Franklin, Trevor and Michael’s story. As for the world of gta 6 I think it obviously be a satire of modern day America and being as or more chaotic than gta5’s Los Santos. which hopefully balances out as a hilarious game with an incredible open-world and with an extremely good and down to earth Bonny and Clyde type story.

I’ll say this, I think people losing their shit because we can play as a female protagonist (one of 2 characters you can play btw, the other being a male) are bumbling idiots. With that said if the “we don’t wanna punch down in our humor” thing is true I think that has more validity for concern. These games have always punched up, down, left, right, every direction. Limiting their humor only to groups that wouldn’t be seen as “marginalized” just to not step on any modern toes would be stupid imo. Especially in a game about crime. That said the trailer gave me more confidence, I just hope there’s no real validity to that article about the “punching down”.

What most people mean by woke is the inclusion of identity politics and racism/sexism (Like the lack of straight white males just because it isnt diverse enough to appease blackrock) ALOT of people will not enjoy GTA 6 if it forces prefered pronouns in your face. People want to play a game not have the game force onto them which side is right or wrong. Additionally, people won't play if Lucia is an extreme of modern women who treats men like theyre beneth her, who lies and cheats etc. No game company should prioritise a political agenda over an immersive experience. Due to rockstars funding from blackrock, its going to be woke, but how woke? Will there be pride flags all over the streets? Will june be pride month in game or mens mental health month? Will there be any pronoun selection in online? Will you be able to be a female/male with the anatomy of the other gender? Will there be furries? Stuff like this is what people are refering to, and the last thing I want in a gta game is to be accused of hate speech just for killing a group of npcs protesting for something. Its potentially how red dead had that womens rights protester, but if they punished you for attacking her, or made her unkillable. Or flagged your account if you did attack her.

- Main producers, writers, designers left - radio hosts that were into the game left - many developers of the OG days were also fired - GTA V on PS5 got censored ( another proof ) - GTA Trilogy too ( maybe cuz of GSG not sure if T2/New age R* chose that ) All the neutering of Rockstar Games, changing culture and basically taking everything that they once was. Main reason as to why the founders left and started another company which very predictably, it happened that pretty much all of who left/was fired previously, joined their new company which is based on storytelling etc RDR2 began early-production somewhere in 2010 or shortly after so ofc it had that heavy OG Rockstar touch to it so in short, they only have their barely holding onto-golden status due to their past. GTA VI will definitely reveal that now its not the case anymore. Also many ex devs and important people know it won't have that previous games tone Also people like you like to follow a crowd of sheeps when Rockstar does something "good" once when they've done 5000 things wrong and bad. You barely know any information about anything and decided to spit this video out of ur own a$$. I've heard no good arguments from u as to why people believing and knowing that it will be shit tier and woke are wrong GTA 6 will purely appeal to garbage consumerism tiktok kids audiences and thats all. IV and V first trailers had more to show than this one.

I think that there's a clear difference between forced representation and good representation. A show made for the sake of pleasing a group of people will not be a good show, but if the character is good at the end of the day no matter what it'll be a quality piece of entertainment. This video is talking about the people that see the female protagonist and go AAAA WOKE!
