I’m going to play as both in gta vi, I play both Franklin Michael and Trevor but I do mostly play as Trevor but I still continue to play hours with each character while free roaming or just story missions, side quests ext.

I’m eager to see what kind of abilities Jason and Lucia have, or if it’d be some type of skill tree kind of thing. I’m going to play as both characters for sure, I just think that since it is GTA (which is predominantly male based) we’ll probably end up spending more time as the male character or the story will likely be from mostly his perspective, just like how Michael is the true main protagonist of GTA 5. This is all just speculation of course

the hat based on the leaks wasn't supposed to be part of his basic outfit, it's part of a thing called collectible hats that the dev filming decided to use for most of the clips. In one of the leaks he also wears a more darker backwards cap

This is the problem with gta 5. Michael and Trevor overshadowed Franklin character. Franklin gets no character depth or development. A pushover the entire game. It almost feel as if they just put him in the game for San Andreas nostalgia since Franklin and cj are both related to groove street.

We get no background story of Franklin or any depth of him like Michael and Trevor. He also had the weakest arc. We do like 3 Franklin and Lamar missions and the rest is about Michael while Franklin just ride along 😭

@kdjxbxjbxjx4837 no bro Franklin was just there. Yea he has missions but the plot, you know the actual story doesn’t really do much with Franklin. The story is about Michael more than it is Franklin. We get depth with Michael and background multiple times on how he did things. We even get a lot of inside with Michael family. Franklin on the other hand not much. He wants to get out the hood which he does that’s about it with his story. No background story, no depth and no character development. Dude was a pushover the entire game. You can easily look this up too Michael is the main character not Franklin. Just because you have to option to kill them doesn’t mean he’s not the main character. Main character is based off who’s the story center around and it’s Michael.

I like the idea that Jason is an ex-mercenery of Merryweather, it whould explain his in-game skills, like driving really well, fighting, shooting, piloting, swimming, etc. Plus in every new GTA we go agaisnt the allies or help the enemies of the previous game. GTA V we attack the Lost. Liberty City Stories we help the Leones. GTA San Andreas CJ hates drug dealers and Tommy Vercetti was one. Anyway, it whould be fun to have the perspecitve of Merryweather after we attacked them so much in GTA V, maybe Don Percival could even show up in GTA VI.

Yep I want to see both sides of both worlds. The wire is my favorite show and that’s what they did. They showed both worlds but without the cliche typical gangsters vs pigs or good guys vs drug dealer stereotypes. It was done right.

The way I see it is that Lucia is the mind behind the operation and jasson is for the strength. I hope thats not correct and instead we see both plan and have opinions on heists and stores that they rob. I feel like rockstar really wants to show each character in a separate trailer like what they did with GTA 5 . That way they will introduce us them in different perspectives so the final trailer being a couple trailer and the last one definitely about the world of GTA 6 .

What if, Jason does crime in just a fun manner like robbing small stores, and then takes lucia to one where she finds it really fun, hence starting her addiction for theft compared to jason doing it just for quick money? That would fit better with the bonnie and clyde perspective

tbh I think that Jason might be just a crook doing mainly probably car theft and street racing based on leaks suggesting that Jason has a passion for cars, especially the ones from the brand Classique, and the fact that in the trailer he is mostly seen as the wheelman with one shot showing that his good at it, and then meets Lucia who introduces him to other crimes like robberies and such explaining why in the trailer when they rob the store Jason looks less skilled than Lucia

The og vice City was based off of Miami vice i.e. Sonny Crockett and there's so much resemblance that can be seen in the trailer with the miami vice 06 reboot . R* are really big fans of Micheal Mann , so I think with so much evidence being Jason a cop .( Hair , gun , trigger discipline, naive behaviour) also undercover cops being trying to be cool to blend in thing . I think rockstar would love to toy with that stuff . Also from the leaks you have a child in the story too and earliest hints were about them both being inspired by Gosling and his wife's character in 'a place beyond the pines' also serving as a homage to vice City Stories. This all would make for nice moral tension too yk protection of the kid plotline . Another thing is that they wanted to include a cops v robbers mode too as you could see it into beta and if you have seen enough videos about beta vs retail of r* you would notice how they implement features they couldn't implement for time being into the future instalments. Also the reason they partnered with 5m creators too . All this evidence leads to Jason lol why people can't see the obvious.

Well what I think is based off his design off the leaks he has a resemblance of Trevor cause of the dirty tanktop but it looks to me that Jason looked at like he's been laying low for quite a while . And it's rumored that you will start main game off with Jason after you do the tutorial with Lucia

My theory is that jason used to be a cop and he worked in the jail Lucia was in and they fell in love and Jason helped her escape. In the trailer while Jason is driving the car he looks scared not concerned but scared because he is new to being a criminal. Lucia looks more concerned than scared in that scene. And Lucia asking him if he trusts her, that might be because Jason is scared that the job they're gonna do isn't going to work out. And this theory is supported by the song where its said something like: "she made my life what she thought it should be". And we know that the songs in Rockstar trailers usually reflect the story atleast a bit.

Due to how little we know about GTA VI from a 90 second trailer, It probably goes much deeper and beyond what we currently know so far about GTA VI as Lucia and Jason will have their dark criminal backstories and the story of them being a criminal couple. We will find out once GTA VI releases.
