It's been 10 years in the making so let's see if the long-awaited trailer for the new GTA Is worth it. Plus what do you think about the GTA 6 Release date.

I remember playing the very first GTA when it was a birds eye view game. Video games have come a long way. The first system I ever played was Atari. Then when the NES came out my dad got it for my siblings and I for Christmas. I was so excited. I remember the graphics looking so cool compared to the Atari. Now look where we are. I can't imagine what games are going to be like in 30 or 40 years.

One really nice thing about Rockstar, when it comes to gameplay vs cutscenes, they generally keep the exact same graphic clarity from one to the other.

I had the EXACT same reaction as you did when I saw the release date. Including the "Wait. What year are we in??". I even checked my phone to make sure I wasn't having a brain fart and that it was actually 2023. 😂😂

So maybe I can ease your worries 😂 Rockstar’s parent company are expecting a just a little tiny spike in revenue by about.. 8 BILLION dollars in fiscal 2025, which ends in March of that year. Basically saying they are almost certainly planning to release it in early 25 in Q1. And we will be in 2024 in a few weeks. So it’s not too much longer of a wait unless (fingers crossed this isn’t the case) it gets delayed

Ben, GTA5 Trailer 1 dropped in Nov 2011 and GTA5 released 22 months later (but was delayed 6 months) in Sep 2013. Hopefully this will release on time in Spring 2025.

The reason for the wait is finishing up textures and details. Usually the trailer vs finished product is 12-20 months. So look for a Q1-Q2 2025 release.

Dead Redemption 2 was built on Rage 8. and GTA 6 is being built on Rage 9. Housemade graphic from Rockstar. Looks great in Cinematic! Lets wait how the gameplay will looks like and what we need in our PC´s to play it with 60 frames ++ 😅 But 100$ nahh i´m out then, will wait until it cost 60€ unless they invest the extra 40$ in their cheater-hacker-defense, because gta V online was a plague!

I was 16 when GTA III first came out, 17 when Vice city came out, 19 when San Andreas came out, 23 when GTA 4 came out, 28 for GTA 5. And ill be pushin 40 when GTA 6 comes out. I've been a fan a long time. I still get goosebumps..

Two things...Yes it's 2025 and PC version is 2026. The Pc version is way after the console version. The reason this game will take so long is because of the level of detail. Over 70% of the buildings you can enter and interact with. Every character and every object has multiple animation sequences because you can interact with almost everything.

I don't know why so many people were shocked by the 2025 release. This is the first they have ever shown off the game and it didn't even show any gameplay. This happens with big games all the time, they are usually still a year and a half or more from done when they show the first trailer. GTA5 first trailer was 2011 and it released 2013.. RDR2 first trailer was 2016, released in 2018.

very Cool, one of the main reasons I bought GTA5 was I wanted to play the LSPDFR mod that everyone was talking about back then.. IT adds so much more to the depth of the game. I never finished the game its self because I got taken away being the lawman chasing crooks and thugs and it was such a blast. I HOPE that follows!!!

I remember right before GTA5 came out COD Black Ops 3 came out and made $1 billion in sales in 11 days and people were saying "that's gonna be a record for a long time!" Then GTA5 came out and made $855 million in 24 hours, and $1 billion in 3 days, blowing that record out of the water, which I still think is hilarious lol

You cant forget another big reason it took so long was because they were working on RDR2 straight after GTA V. And if you played that game you would know that RDR2 is *JAM PACKED!* with details. Like the game is 5 years old now and I’m still finding mind blowing details I would’ve never thought of implementing myself

The original GTA was an overhead view violent carjacking bonanza. It was almost banned. That was a non linear game of pure fun. You didn't need to even play the game's plot. It was just raw fun. On a tangent, there was another game being developed at the same time, called "Postal". That one WAS banned.

I'm just concerned that the CEO of the company behind this game expressed a desire to charge to play this game by the hour.

That isn't true. Sam Houser is the CEO of Rockstar, he hasn't said anything of the sort. The CEO of TakeTwoInteractive which is the parent company of Rockstar was misquoted when he said that the games with more content and substance should cost more than other games that don't offer as much. To put simply, they were talking about the overall value video games offer, and that the price of a game should be based on how many hours they can expect fans to play the game. In no world did he say you are going to be charged every hour you play the game as that would be absurdity. In essence he was trying to emphasise that publishers should try to ‘over-deliver on the content/experience relative to the consumer and their spend. This means a bump of price from 60 to 70.

Red dead 2 is my favorite game, im awe struck continually how beautiful it looks , its impossible for complete missions as i always get sidetracked and headoff chasing a bear or trying to rescue some dame strapped to a horse..then i just have to rambo it😂

the map is actually gonna be way huge as its not just the fact that its twice the size but in gta 5 like 2/3 of the map is just nature and desert but in gta6 more dense map with multiple towns and cities. but yhh that 2025 release is a laugh. prob will be hopefully be 2024

I feel like people completely forgot about Red Dead Redemption 2. They didn't spend 10 years waiting to drop this game. They spent like 7 years developing RDR 2 from 2011 to 2018, and started active development of this game most likely a year or two before RDR 2 came out. Also this isn't gonna be 100 bucks. That's just an alarmist headline based on nothing and people freaked out over it. Anyway nothing against you at all. Loved the reaction and I'm glad you're excited for it.

Back in the day, my dad used to let my 6yr old brother play GTA. Not sure which one it was as this was along time ago. I told my dad it was so inappropriate for a 6yr old to play that game. One time, I walked in the room and my lil brother asked me “what they doing in there.” They were shagging in the car. 10:44 Just a quick note Ben Rockstar uses their own Home Grown Engine called RAGE. Red Dead II was Made on RAGE 8 the new GTA will be on the Newest Version Rage 9. All there Games have been on there own engine. Its light years ahead of Unreal

100$ game sounds horrible... no matter the wait and production.. Just add DLC/ SharkCards or a form of in-game purchase system.. If the game is great as they say it is then, it's more likely people would use in-game purchases like we have before in GTA5... maybe add exclusive packs for irl money.. Overall just don't make it hard for ppl worldwide to get a damn game.. In-game purchase system isn't rare so, hopefully rockstar's don't fiend for cash.. I guess that's my take. Love the content💜💜

I was there for the first GTA release, mate I was MAXIMUM IN THE QUE WAITING FOR THE MIDNIGHT RELEASE OF GTA V, I remember queuing for GTA San Andreas and getting a free gta san Andreas head bandana that I still have free with the game. I played and owned every GTA even China town on the DS which is sick buy the way, I love the comedy of Rockstar games and the little details the stick in the games they make , so to say I can't wait for the 2025 release is an understatement. 😂 Can't wait it's looking siiiick. My favourite was either GTA four with Niko Bellic , fucking great story that one and San Andreas. Oh and Ben MAXIMUM SUPERMAN STYLE KISS CURL HAIR PLEEEEEASE. GTA 6 wont be out on Pc for a few years after console release like they did with GTA five

People wanna find a way to leave reality for a while and Zoné out because real life has become so messed up . These open platform kinda games will make you lose yourself . It's becoming so realistic , who wants to come back to reality when you free to do as you please in the game . If they sell it that high ? They should sell it as once off and just allow to download updated versions or extensions of the original disc.
