I know I am going to have some people ask. Why should I skip some optional preps? Because some you don't need and they waste time. This way you can finish the heist faster. I have been doing all the heists multiple times experimenting with the different optional preps. I hope that this guide helps people. You do not need to do every single optional prep. Some people insist on doing everything even if they don’t use some of the optional stuff. This is a list in my opinion of which preps I think are useful and which aren’t on each approach.

EchooPlays my friend and I did it. Just 2 people, we got all the gold. A tip is to start the heist as a CEO and the associate grabs the last cart in the gas and the CEO health circle regenerates the associate’s health, letting him stay in the gas longer.

FYI and Convenience Silent and Sneaky: Security Passes level 2, Security Intel, Patrol Routes, Duggan shipments. EMP and Infiltration suites help but not mandatory. Big Con: Exit Disguise (high rollers), Security Intel. Make sure you do Gruppe sechs as is by far the easiest approach for Big Con. Aggressive: Boring machine, Duggan shipments, Security intel. If you get Artwork regardless of approach do power drills. As you will have enough time to clear out the vault. Power drills gives that extra bit of money.

5:54 Hard disagree. You should ALWAYS do the Level 2 Security Pass mission. Why? There are only two variations to the mission (dead valet and the drunk party) both of which are extremely simple and take max 5 minutes to do. Hacking is easy but it wastes so much time. Save yourself the trouble and just do the passes. Also I do agree that you should find the playing cards so you don't ever have to do the exit disguise mission, however for anyone who hasn't done it yet, always do the Firefighter one. The Firefighter prep is extremely easy (especially if you get the one where you steal the fire truck straight from a fire fighter station) and like the Lvl 2 Passes, only takes 5 minutes max to do.

As someone who has done silent and sneaky a lot, here are 2 tips: After you hit the vault, you need to make your way back up the stairs. The stairs have a door you first need to unlock. You can unlock this door while you're sneaking in, so you don't have to do it when making your way out. The second hint works well with the first hint. If you get an EMP, I recommend you use it when leaving the building. After you looted the vault and after you made your way trough the tunnel, activate your EMP and just run out. If you do this strategy, you shouldn't even need to do the duggan shipments

My friend and I been doing back to back heists big con Groupe and silent. With silent we enter staff there is 3 patterns of guards in the main room with one making you have to shoot down a cam, the rest you're fine. The daily room has 3 patterns as well, go downstairs if you didn't have to shoot down the lobby cam shoot down stairs cam, pre unlocked door downstairs, duel kill two guards in back, then one goes towards the bodies, one goes toward the vault room, a gaurd will move left or right, back person shoots, set off emp, kill room, loot and on the way out you can basically run out without sneaking until side hallway, and even then only sometimes, use laundry to loops around, stun lobby cam. Easy peasy *edit* enter staff, exit staff for sneak

Agree with all of this except duggan shipments on big con, as long as you take the easiest route there’s only 2 guys you need to knock out on the gruppe sechs approach (4 if you want to go for the bonus cash in the mini vault) which is really the only approach you should be doing for big con anyway, and both patrol in such a way that you can wait for them to walk past you and melee them once to kill. You don’t need to kill anyone else in the whole heist, just melee those 2 guys and get to the exit disguises, after that nobody attacks you and you just walk right out of there. All the others are essential for all approaches, the only other one I would argue is security intel on the big con or agressive, but you do need it for silent and sneaky and it saves so you may as well.

Little fact, the NPCs use Mk2 weapons outside of the actual heist as well, specifically in the Patrol Route prep. After you've killed all of them and gone down to the parking lot to photograph the roster, you'll see that the guards have dropped Special Carbine Mk2s behind.

yhn wumbo yes, there are 4 stages. If you destroy none, they will have knockdown immunity and bulletproof helmets alongside MkII Special Carbines and Assault/Bullpup Shotguns. The first stage is if you destroy only 1 or 2 shipments, which will only remove their helmets and reduce their weapons to Compact Rifles and Combat PDW’s. The second will reduce their armor even further. The third stage leaves them with no armor at all and only Micro SMG’s for their weapons.

For Big Con all you need is security pass lvl 2, you should use exit disguises and patrol routes until you get the hang of it. You don't need exit disguises if you run out through staff entrance when they aren't looking or knock the 2 guys out near the staff entrance when they aren't looking. For silent and sneaky I would recommend just security pass lvl 2 and duggan shipments (destroy at least 3 shipments to remove helmets). Patrol routes also help until you get the hang of it. Its technically possible without duggan, but you and your partners have to know what you're doing.

Pro tip: to save time from paleto bay to los santos and back, do not take the western highway but the train tracks instead. They extend to the middle of sandy shores beside route 68 and even to the eastern highway and its flat the entire way and you save at least 5 mins of your time. If you got the oppressor mk 1, the boost helps a lot. The only thing you gotta worry about is the train obviously but at least its better than traffic

For the guard intel prep the guards have extreme aimbot the guards had automatic weapons and killed in two seconds and the same amount of for my friend and he was at sniper range with perfect accuracy for both of us this is worse than merryweather

1. Hide close by 2. Call Merryweather and request backup helicopter 3. When it arrives shoot one and hide again 4. The heli won't get them all but they won't be able to rush you from all sides and even forget about you at times, so you can easily shoot them. All it costs is 5.000 - maybe you save that much on ammo anyway

Aggressive heist - use sewer entrance as it takes you straight to basement unless you planning on hitting elite challenge by getting 80 headshots! Also Duggan Shipments is a must for this approach. Reinforced armour is also a great one since some people who join forget to buy armour. Silent & Sneaky - patrol routes, level 2 security passes unless u want to do dots hack, emp & infiltration suits is not absolutely necessary but helps alot as you can turn off lights on exit Big Con - gruppe sechs all the way as it leads you straight into vault undetected and exit disguise also a must have as you can basically finish it all undetected, patrol routes also helps knowing where guards are from far. Level 2 security passes again unless you want to hack dots. In order to unlock gruppe sechs u have to take a photo of the garage tunnel entrance near casino race track in scope mission. If you have missed this on initial scope don't worry u can always do scope casino points of interest mission again and unlock it. Some other tips: - Always choose cheapest weapons staff and cheapest car staff as it will do the job and will give you more money at the end as it will reduce your staff cut. Always choose most expensive hacker for silent & sneaky and big con. Aggressive makes no difference. If you want most expensive hacker then find all 50 signal jammers and destroy them to unlock him otherwise get Paige however you do need to have terrorbyte and nightclub to get her. - Do not bump into guards in big con as it will alert them. - Watch out for cameras for silent & sneaky and when shooting 2 guys at same time you must kill at same time otherwise you risk getting caught. - If you get caught before entering vault in silent & sneaky or big con your vault timer will automatically revert to aggressive so that means you wasted money on expensive hacker for nothing so always try to atleast get in vault undetected in these approaches. - Don't just stand and shoot guys if you enter or exit aggressively in any of heists as you will lose money everytime they shoot you - get cover! - Look up tunnel getaway location and use it when getting away unless you know how to spawn helicopter. - For max take for all heists - do power drills aswell so that if you clean out vault and have extra time you can get lock boxes. - If you get cash, keep in mind you need more people to join I always have 4 people for cash as it takes too long to collect for less people. - gold, you can get away with 3 people or even 2 if they are very quick but I always go for 3 people as again it takes longer to collect but not as long as cash - artwork, 2 people is all you need - Hard mode - means you have to hack doors twice and have only 1 life so adjust people in heist depending on if they can hack or not and what the vault contents are. - Entrance & Exits are all up to you but I always choose the following: Aggressive entrance - sewer Aggressive exit - staff Silent & Sneaky entrance - staff Silent & Sneaky exit - staff Big Con entrance - automatic gruppe sechs entrance Big Con exit - staff - ALWAYS CHOOSE HIGH LEVEL BUYER THEY PAY MOST! Tip: Don't be more than 2 players. Go for paintings and you can get them all with the 7% cut hacker. Do aggressive (sewer in-staff out) and big con (gruppe sachs in-staff out). Don't worry about the timer in the vault. You have to stay in the gas to get the last painting, but you can eat while cutting it down so you will survive. This means you will be going aggressive out on the big con, but if you've done the duggan shipments prep it's a walk in the park, even with the micro-smg loadout. You will only lose ~50k of the total take. It's an easy 1m for both players, every time.

When doing with randoms: Aggressive - get the armored suits and destroy Duggan shipment. Don't need Boring machine - thanks to glitch or game logic (tunnel is already dug from previous Heists) the sewers will be available either way. In case Randoms get separated the extra armor will help. Grupp6 - get the level 2 passes or some idiot will have time to start fooling around meanwhile you hack the staircase door. NO Power Drills ever!!!!!!!!! Randoms are known to ignore Paintings, Gold and Cash and just go for the boxes. Yeah I know.

Reinforced armor is 100% worth it when playing with randoms. I completed the aggressive approach on hard with a level 16 and 30ish with no deaths but doing it with higher levels still under 100 and on normal without the armor we failed a lot.

I'd say for every approach you definitely need to do: -Duggans Security Shipments -Lvl. 2 Security Pass -Security Intel -Patrol Routes P.S. even if professional tells you not do a certain optional prep for a certain approach (Ex. Duggans Shipments for Big Con Gruppe Sechs disguise.) You should do it anyways. You should ALWAYS plan ahead if things go wrong. Professional plays with dependable fans & players which gives him very little issues but if you're a regular player that occasionally has to play with randoms, please do yourself a solid & just do it.

Even if they are weak you will still loose a lot of money and health trying to get them with the peashooter. Therefore no Duggan Shipments mission needed for Big Con. Restarting even does not cost you money. You have to play smart - time is money.

You should never do the aggressive approach regardless. Do it the first time to get it out of the way, then do hardmode sneaky and big con back to back. once you learn them you just run through the stealthing parts and it's ez as cake. once you've practiced stealthing these enough you can pretty much run through it and melee any guards, so their armor is irrelevant. it's not hard to skip duggans shipments, especially on big con since there's only 1 or 2 guards you kill anyways and both of those are usually melee KOs anyways. Never do duggans for big con. doing duggans shipments for sneaky just makes it a true piece of cake, 1 tapping and zapping cameras. I get pretty annoyed that things like the drills for big con gruppe sechs entry are mandatory when they aren't used. nano drones.. never even considered using them and they would only slow down my current pathing. i could even do without the weapon supplier period since i dont need or grab them. lester makes a comment about "youll want to pick these up or you'll be stuck with just a pistol"... yeah well that's all I need... And if I don't plan on getting caught or switching to clean cars why do i need to source a getaway vehicle to begin with? i get caught i fail anyways so why do I need an unmarked getaway car? i get away... oh and never listen to lester once you're inside, he gives the WORST advice ever.. then takes credit for his GENIUS after the fact. I got a funny story When I was in freemode I got an invite from a random player for casino hiest,gold,silent and sneaky. So i told him to do gold glitch and he is ok with it. I thought he knew what gold glitch is but he ain't, when I started taking a gold from each cart he straight left from the hiest saying I am not good at this. The correct answer is aggressive: boring machine, (not absolutely necessary) Duggan shipments. Security pass not needed, you can complete the fingerprint hack on hard in 25-30 seconds. Stealth: (not absolutely necessary) guard patrol routes, (not absolutely necessary) security passes and (not absolutely necessary) EMP. You can melee the guards in the way, rather than trying to shoot them, so you don't need Duggan shipments. There is a glitch that often occurs when leaving on stealth, where a body will be found downstairs, so EMP should probably be necessary. Big con: no additional preps needed.

It's just a 5-10 minute mission and you will have 3.5 times more health. - Always do the security passes! This is my idea: 1. Get art 2. Do it duo 3. get everything with like 40 seconds - 1 minute left (with the signal hammer hacker or paige) 4. Use power drills to get a few safety deposit boxes Duo gold guide 1. You go left the other goes right 2. Grab 3 piles then start going around opening all doors doors doors grabbing again 3. The timer probaly will run out so heres where the main part happens: use snacks to fully regenerate before taking another stash and when moving and eat while in cover 4. Use some of your snacks (most likely P&Qs at this point) to get some safety despoit boxes. Then use the last to fully refill your health and exit the vault with 2.2 million player take The duo gold idea is an opportunity and requires optimal training. Me and a friend are experimenting with it

Call lester and cancel the heist. You'll do vault contents again, sometimes it will not make you do vault contentas again and will automatically give gold or artwork. The most tries it has taken for me was 2 cancels back to back. You'll be paying the 25,00 setup each time you cancel but its definitely worth it.

I grab the security passes for every approach no matter what. I hate those memory dot games and it saves a ton of time. Plus the security pass missions are really easy and short. Also for gunman, driver and hacker; always get the worst gunman (unless if you're doing aggressive, that's up to you) and also always get the worst driver. Get the sentinel classics, they're pretty fast and handle decently. Always go for best hacker (whether it's Paige or Avi Schwartzman) you unlock Paige by getting the Terrorbyte and you unlock Avi by destroying all 50 signal jammers around the map. Avi only gives you a few extra seconds but every second counts and it's also convenient if you don't have the Terrorbyte.
