Grand Theft Auto Online [PC] is a really engaging open-world game made by Rockstar Games, but this game seems to have one small issue... it is swarmed with cheaters and it's really getting out of hand... godmode, teleport hacks, spawning cars, money hacking and much more is everyday reality of GTA Online (on PC) and you can find that in basically every session nowdays, which is not only enraging but also sad. I don't want to see my favorite game in this state!

I couldn't care less if they had billions of dollars and all the cars they want, having everything means you get bored, but the options that they have to abuse other players are unacceptable.

Yes, finally, someone mentioned this! If you have everything, you have no reason to play anymore. Basically, you have two options. Either quit GTA altogether or exploit and grief other players. Sadly, many cheaters choose the latter. 😿

@@IncandescentNeon and a third option that is less seen, is cheaters, helping you and trying to make the game bit more funky with some random mods, well just having some fun. But that is very rare...

Honestly, I don't mind if they only spawn cars for themselves, teleport themselves around the map, or give themselves cash/XP, etc, but as soon as they start messing with other players, then this should be the reason why they need to get banned. Cheating in this game is incredibly and laughably easy. You don't even need a mod menu for some of the things. Particularly because this game is running on 20+ year old technology that was almost outdated by the time the game came out. Hopefully, they learned their lesson, and they will improve in Grand Theft Auto 6: Online

The game is old, and I get the idea that R* doesn't want to fix it because they are focused on the development of GTA6. Moreover, it's probably impossible to fix the issues now cuz the game is already so old but I definitely hope that GTA 6 Online will fix these issues and devs will learn from the mistakes that were made in GTA 5. Additionally, because Grand Theft Auto 5 was my favorite game ever since it came out (I was too young to play it so I watched hours upon hours of GTA 5 related content,) it's quite sad to see my favorite game in this state. (I hope I wrote that correctly lol. I'm somewhat confused today)

Not gonna lie, i use a mod menu just to protect my self from other modder that go berserk on every lobby, its almost necessary if u want to play on a public lobby...

Although it's sad, it's true. You have to protect yourself from the people who can literally see your ip and can boot you offline.

I use a menu myself and I think it's fine as long as you don't grief and troll normal players. I started using a menu after r* reset my account after using a non-menu money glitch. Why would you even try to earn money the fair and right way or buy cards if cheaters can just skip that whole part with basically no consequences?

Yeah, Rockstar is making it hard for people to NOT cheat honestly. They don't care if you cheat, they inflate the prices of purchasable items and they nerf the heist (or other jobs) payouts, so then it becomes almost impossible to make money the legit way... 📉

Rockstar only cares and ban if you make too much money, For the rest you can do what you want.

GTA Online is designed to be very grindy and encourages people to spend real world money. You don't have to spend that money, and the game is good, but it certainly is very grindy. On top of that, the older heists, the ones that most new players can actually play, require 4 players and we all know how shitty Rockstar's connectivity is. So, of course people would be more inclined to pay a one-time fee (and sometimes get it for free) for a mod menu. I personally don't mind anyone using a mod menu. If you want to enhance your own experience with mods, do it. I just don't like it when people use it to harm others' experience. TBH, I rarely play public sessions in online games now because I have been permanently scarred by GTA Online's cheating scene-

*I support the idea to rather cheat than pay*. On the other hand, GTA Online offers countless ways to make money, and a lot of them can be executed solo. Although I agree that it takes a lot of effort and grind, where is the point of the game if you get the money "the easy way"..? It's up to Your personal choice, and I don't judge anyone, I just want to hear different opinions to help me understand "the bigger picture." 🩷🧡

Ngl I been cheating for years and never got banned in the past 4 years. The majority of modder are cheating for thenself and to grief other. In rare cases you see modder abussing their mod menu to grief others(If I notice I will kick them with my mod menu so the griefer can't course any harm in this session) In every single full lobby there at least 1 to 4 modders in a lobby with my dectioion of my mod menu(not including myself for stastic). I personal use mods for to protect against other modders .Get some bug fixes. Some quality of life improves to be able to buy thoses old hundreds of cars who got removed for stupid reason. I can also ChatCommands so that my friend don't need a modmenu but still able to spawn cars, teleport, auto heal, remove cops and more. I like to mess around around with friends in Spawn some 'Maps' in Public lobby for example Mega Ramp on Mountins. I enjoy any heist with some mods to make it easier (like auto heal, give all weapons and more) or to mess around with friends/stranger because it always different approache (in a good way). GTA: Online PC is a mess. You join them with mods for more fun 😮or leave it. I like GTA: Online how it is. It's just a mess and to be able to mod this game online makes it much better. I see it perspective like a sandbox to enjoy more. (Note: FiveM is not same as GTA: Online and I won't play FiveM because of their RP community and other problems. Everysingle modding server doesn't feel as good as GTA: Online with Mods.)

I get it. I personally don't support it, but I get it. The game is old, and players who have nothing more to explore in the game get bored, and they want a change, so they go for the mod menu. It's understandable and actually not that bad (at least in your case), but many players who cheat decide to cause harm and grief others, and they ruin the game for everyone. It's true that with great power comes great responsibility... ✨️

True i found a GOD mode player but not in a pc lobby, in a frickin ps4 lobby, it was ez to remove his god mode with a trick ik but yeah, hackers are in ps4 now

All cheaters should be banned or at least put in lobbies with other cheaters so players who play the game properly can enjoy the game , i very rarely see cheaters on PlayStation it allways seems to be xbox or pc

Yeah, that is an interesting idea. Making lobbies for hackers (convicted cheaters) and for legit players separate would make the game so much more fun for both sides! Too bad it will never get implemented. 😿😞

good video. Im playing on pc. there is no anticheat on pc, only a reportfunction with no sense. in every full lobby i joined, there is minimum 2 to 3 cheaters in there. cheater makes this game so broken. cheating in a singleplayergame is ok, but in a multiplayergame sucks. because when u cheating and can spawn everything in the game u dont must play the game. after a very short time the cheater get boring and what to do to dont get boring? the cheater attack and annoy other players instead of playing the game and work for the money. its a circuit. thats my oppinion. the last years the most of time im playing with friends in invite only lobbies. greetings from germany. ;)

he wasnt, have u ever actually played gta, he was prob just looking down to get it to spawn infront of him and we couldnt see the way his head was angled or rockstars occlusional culling system didnt notice, and also normally when modders spawn cars they spawn into it, i have never seen any modder spawn a car that they werent inside of instantly

Yes, he was. It was obvious that he spawned it via some menu because the car spawned in the middle of the road AT AN ANGLE! That is not how cars in GTA spawn. Moreover, his menu could be incapable of spawning the car with the player inside, or he just had the option turned off. I have seen a couple of cheaters in my life, and many of them spawn cars in front of them. If you watch some videos of people cheating in GTAO, you can notice that they also slow-walk while they are selecting what car to spawn and as they spawn it they start running to it (as they close the menu). From what you say, it seems that *you* never played GTA Online 😹

@@IncandescentNeon sure mate, but you still have a few problems, the angle thing is just a stupid thing to say, its not like rockstar could just add a line of code that says spawn straight, thats not how it works, they would need to make a path of vertices along the road to spawn cars at, and that does mean that somewhere across the massive map there will be somewhere it is at an angle, also the slow walking is also dumb af, they simply called the mechanic and where walking in a random direction, and the car spawned, so they ran towards it, not to mention if they were spawning a car via mod menu, there would be no need to walk, why not just spawn it infront of them, and i have also seen plenty of modders, and i personally have never seen a modder spawn a car without being inside it, and i meet them all the time, most of the time they are being nice as well so you can actively see them doing it.

frankly, modders in gta are not a big problem at all, when you do meet them they are normally quite friendly, its very rare to have a griefer one, normally they just give u money rp and help you at a mission, non-mod griefers are a much bigger problem that needs to be solved before this (if u dont want to be griefed by modders dont attack them)

I'm afraid I can't agree with you. Cheaters are not always bad (most of the times you don't even know someone is using mods), but it takes one "bad" modder, and you are fu**ed. They can see your IP, they can crash your game, and they are able to kick you from the lobby. When you think about it, you can protect yourself from a legit player who griefs you, but you have absolutely no way to protect yourself against a modder that wants you "down" (without mods of course...) 🗣🔥‼️ So yeah. Modders ARE the biggest problem. Definitely not all of them, but if they are problematic, they are a modder. (I hope that makes sense, I got a little bit lost in my own explanation 😹)

@@IncandescentNeon in theory it makes sense, we get told a lot threat they can see our ip, but why would they, they have no reason to go through all that trouble unless you piss them off really bad, and i seriously doubt many mod menus will have that kinda option, they are primarily for fun and to not have to bother to grind, only someone who either knows where to look for a more extreme mod menu will be able to do this, except people who understand tech and hacking etc, and they prob have something better to do than randomly jump on gtao and fuck over some random guy, yes it can happen, bet i could also technically get shot while writing this, it just isnt going to happen.

@alt14341 That is true, and I agree that it's very unlikely to happen, but just the fact that it's possible makes it a major problem. Not only are the players at risk simply playing the game, but the developers know about this and don't even try to fix it. I'm no expert on that topic, so idk if it's even possible to fix it, but you get the point. It's not exactly ideal.
