Jeepy didn't clarify at 1:43 an asi loader is required for mod to work if you go for standalone thing, so you need to get one separately or better go for the quick setup pack option that includes it if you don't already have those mods from the pack ofc. upd: worth getting the latest standalone version of the mod and replasing the asi

Hello, i know this video was from a long time ago, but how do you move with A and D like that? my CJ just stays going forward when i press W and he goes back if i press S, but never actually goes left or right if i press A or D. i took a look at the settings, the menu and everything, and even after putting all the settings like yours, my movement just keeps being like that. i also tried moving the mouse but it barely even moves to the sides. any idea why this happens?

hey! whenever I do an accelerated backhop and I switch back to front view, I almost instantly lose my speed back to 250u/s. Are there any ways to get past this?

it sounds to me like you may have half life 2 movement enabled, you need mixed movement to keep bhop momentum forward. i hope that helps

did you bind it to c in the settings? options>controller setup>redefine controls>foot controls> look behind at the bottom of the list, remove whatever default is by clicking it and pressing backspace twice then bind it to c or whatever else you might find comfortable to use

i'm sure you could use a virtual keyboard or figure out a way to rebind keys or something like that, not sure, but i think you can set up the binds inside the ini file (it may require downloading zmenu and/or modernized keyboard controls). the thing is, unless you wanna mess with settings in real time, you don't really need to bring up the menu to change anything during the run and you can enter all your desired settings in the ini.

Not yet. So far only 4 people have finished a full run. If enough people start running than there will be one eventually, probably. If they all agree to run on the same settings that is.

Pretty much what El Manana said, right now we are pretty much running within the parameters of either HL1 default movement or HL2 default movement for gravity, jump height, walk speed and airaccel within the range of 0-100. Both HL1 and HL2 movement physics have advantages and disadvantages so id say whatever feels best for you is fair game. Maybe when/if we have more runners and things get a little more competitive we can actually iron out some rules. The emphasis is on fun at the end of the day, we would hate to set rules that limit our ability to make this a fun category to run. Thus the mod pack full of mods that improve the game experience 😁

I want to also mention, we are not duping in this category and that cuts a lot of the movement out of the game which is the primary focus of the mod. The record is already below nmg WR so it’s already getting to be a short enough run to enjoy!

They should automatically follow unless you toggle it off in the menu. Check and see if the setting is toggled
