At this point Hot Coffee is less trivia and more common knowledge. However if you want some further reading on Hot Coffee I recommend the book "Jacked" (I can't remember the author) which covers the history of DMA, Rockstar Games and the GTA series as a whole and does a good job covering the various perspectives surrounding it such as why Rockstar left it in, the ESRB situation and response to it and how people like Jack Thompson felt about. Jack Thompson's also covered by the book and does a good job explaining why he was so against companies like Rockstar in a respectful manner.

Something that people should know about the game is that the PS2 version had a lot of effects and textures (sunset red effect, trembling vision due to the heat...) that are missing in ALL subsequent version of the game (even the Xbox and PC versions that came shortly after) Check it out: there are even mods to restore those effects on PC.

Something I love about the Bigfoot rumor is that it was later referenced in Red Dead Redemption's Undead Nightmare DLC. For killing a Bigfoot in the side-mission "Birth of the Conservation Movement" you get the achievement/trophy "Six Years In The Making" as Undead Nightmare come out on San Andreas sixth anniversary. The French version of the achievement is called "Plus la peine de chercher,CJ" which translates to "No need to seek it anymore,CJ".
