"Cut my head off" (or "hakiri" in the original interview) is actually a colloquial saying in the Japanese workforce. In its original context, 'hakiri' is a ritual sacrifice much like seppuku, except commited by beheading ones own head. In modern day, the term has taken on a new connotation among Japanese workers to more figuratively mean "to quit one's career" (kinda like how an English speaker would "shoot themself in the foot" if they made mistake). In the interview, Mikami meant to say that he'd quit as a Producer at Capcom if he broke his promise to keep RE4 on the GameCube (I presume because he was 'dishonoring' Capcom's Nintendo players). He indeed kept his word on that promise, as he moved to Clover Studios following RE4's release before establishing his new company, PlatinumGames, in 2007. Or you know, he actually did cut off his head every time RE4 got ported!

Another fact for ya: In the beginning when you first get to the main village (the first chainsaw fight) you can run into one of the buildings to trigger a cutscene. In all versions Leon will say "crap, chainsaw." EXCEPT for the original Gamecube Version where he says "fuck, chainsaw"
