I didn't, I felt bad for Brian because I knew that Billy manipulated Brian so much that he believed everything that came out of his mouth, but after the random where Brian tries to kill Johnny even after Johnny spared his life, I regretted my decision, finally realizing how much of a douch/loser he was.

Also little difference between entering the house or throwing a bomb If you enter and execute/spare Brian, Jim sends you an SMS suggesting to use the safe house right away, but if you throw the bomb through the window, it will take a few minutes for him to send the SMS, and the text will be slightly different, saying he's been cleaning the house and is now ready to use, as if he was repairing the damage caused by the bomb
