This is Part 3 of our super-hit Climb Test series, This test is to find out which vehicle is best climber. We've a special track to carry out this climb test. This time we have 17 contenders for this test covering almost all classes of vehicles available in GTA V.

Tractor & other vehicles.. proof R* does NOT get steep gearing & torque. They make things slow by watering down power, instead of having..the tractor et al..have tons of power, just very quick gear ratios for working, pulling etc & thereby a low top speed.

@@SD1ONE They should just hire you and me and a few other ppl..ppl that get some things they perennially miss. Ik, it's not rly a racing sim..it's just a crazy game with limited immersion on it's own, cept for what ppl make of it for themselves..whether folks modding story mode or playing crime boss with buds online, lol. but with the money they make..it can be a fine racing sim and have more of the things ppl mod to get, in vanilla form. when a real world car comes out that is a hottie, it takes them far too long to plop a copy into DLC. Bravado Hellfire & Lampadati Komodo, et al..very nice cars! Shudda been out a few yrs ago.

Fun fact, the Rhino is probably the most accurate on it. I've been playing around with GTA San Andreas handling system, and even there you can make tractors, and other heavy high powered vehicles behave as they should, tho I'm not sure how different the handling values are in V, as I never got into it for this game but... They could literally just make it work like an "opposite downforce". Cars speed and power are directly affected by car grip in the whole GTA series. The less grip, the less power, and so, the less acceleration and top speed. You can just make an insane default grip value with a notorious decreasing value while you gain speed. That is how they manage to make cars turn less when they're going faster, and react worse overall, as well as limiting the top speed.

This is just a test of which car can build the most speed before hitting the ramp. A "climbing test" would be starting at the bottom, and easing your way up, only flooring it when needed.

You can actually climb Mt. Chilliad with the Faggio, but you sometimes have to go reverse. Try it with some friends, it is great fun.

your next attempt at this if you do another all the cars from your 3 previous that reached the top because you hit a booster should be redone to see how they do without it. They didn't climb they were launched by rockets.

I feel like the angles should be more slowly built up and less steep, instead of such drastic hieght change so suddenly. It's too easy for vehicles to stop on the same platform here and the faster accelerating vehicles will always have an advantage on such quick height change.

The Vagrant looks like an Ariel Nomad. It's surely based on it. The god Faggio got further in reverse than going forward. No wonder it's 5000 $ on the internet. I want something with the sound of the LFA in the game. Is the Everon based on the Hilux? Looks like one. Even the Fieldmaster did better than the Faggio in forward mode. But the scrappy van did better than the Fieldmaster - unexpected I've never seen the Neon - when did it enter the game?
