27th April 2019 I was landed in Cheko n Slovakia n Hungary as tourist with friends of mine n we are walking down at the Danube river bank...Danube river is so beautiful...n I remember this such beautiful music n some beautiful girl in dancing room.

i agree with you Jason that this is the best version of this waltz on KZbin - not overcomplicated show-off mess but beautifully played great transcription for piano!. In my opinion when speed up by 1.25 it has similar tempo to Kleibers 1989 Neujahrskonzert interpretation which is just great. Thank you for uploading it!

It's the original piece written by Johann Strauss (or modified himself), the pianist also modified a little (some sections not repeated, some cut off), but generally it's the original piece :D

Not a fan of the syncopation on the left hand, but otherwise... not bad. Still just doesn't do it justice though. The full orchestra version is just too brilliant.

This is the arranged piano version written by Strauss himself. It is available on IMSLP, and in numerous Waltz books. In fact, it’s the first waltz in 2 of my piano waltz collection books!

For me as a kid, my first expose to this was Looney Tunes silly symphonies: A Korny Koncerto. It also had tales from the vienna woods. Classic bugs and daffy cartoon.

Right! It's an A13, in this case a 3 note left hand voicing (from the bottom up, G C# F# ), a chord used by scores of jazz pianists, especially on a blues!
