@@DragonfireSL I don't think it was. During an interview (I believe to promote Heist) he was asked "Does it ever get hard keeping track of all your characters?" His answer was "No. Because it's all bullshit." If it was the character responding he (probably) wouldn't have answered so directly since from what we know "character" Mark is not aware he's in a story.

14:05 I know in the early stages of production, Mark openly admitted he went over KZbin's budget. He raised the rest of the money through his KZbin memberships with exclusive videos being the members' reward for helping him.

Thats true. I dont remember if it was for space or heist (i think heist but he had the same if not more budget for space), but i rememeber him say he had a buget of 1 million $ and that space ended up being way bigger than intended and more more expensive

Well has he recently said in his BTS stream. If you haven't seen it. It's 6 hrs long. He said that he had contract to do 2 more adventures. KZbin allowed him to fulfill his contract & increase the budget for this project if he released this in 2 separate parts. Of course I'm sure channel memberships & any donos went towards the budget as well.

fun fact: markiplers pins change almost every time we enter another timeline in the wormhole Ex: when you have to chose if you want to close or open the door with a mimic like creature behind it trying to attack you he has a moon pin on him.

Quick little thing that's food for thought. Everyone should keep in mind that the captain was awake when they opened the worm hole. I feel like that's gonna be an important thing coming back. They were just talking about how important it was to be asleep but the captain was AWAKE when it opened. I don't know if it was the cryopod cuz we had that system update that woke us back up right as it opened, or if it was planned. That lady in the cryochamber was also awake, and I feel like that could possibly be the old woman. Not so sure on that one though.

I love how even though Mark is describing our character. There's no actual information we can get. "Those baby grey eyes" has no meaning since we're in a Noir setting where everything is Grey. So we still know next to nothing1:00:09

I chose EVERY chaotic and ridiculous option on my first run. My thought process was keep making the obviously worse and stupid decisions to see how bad I could make it until the story finally directs me in the right way by force or eventually killing me permanently. I bet you anything Mark watched this whole reaction, sweating nervously while he waited for possible spoilers being said. Lmao! But also, I just wanna say that I'm so glad that someone FINALLY waits until the last second to make a decision, in order to hear and see those last few seconds of awkwardness while the character waits on you. Those are some of my favorite parts and I genuinely haven't seen anyone else do it. They just make a decision quickly or they pause it to think and then hit it. So many great moments missed! Also, after watching this reaction, I hadn't realized how much Matt and I think alike. Maybe I'm also a theorist without knowing it. And last thing....just think...part two is the one that has the GOOD stuff in it. With part one being THIS amazing...and it wasn't even the best half. I think our minds are fixing to be blown in a few days.

The difference in story from person to person is so interesting! When i got to the agency it was still all Noir! They all spoke like old timey detective shows and had different costumes, only to come back in their normal clothes later on! Interestingingly enough, this crystal lets the captain jump between universes? Or creates another one. And the box which has the crystal from Heist, apparently gives you what you need in the moment you open it, like a picnic blanket or the crystal when you and Mark fall to your death.

Something i just noticed, it looks like matpat might be playing two characters, or just one who really likes an outfit change. In part one we see him in a blue suit, and beige a suit similar to Mark's. And the nametags are different. I forgot the blue one, so i'll check that in a sec, but the beige suited Matt has "MACK" on the nametag. Edit: Matt-blue's nametag is P0620(i think) Do ye think he's playing twins with similar names? One Mack, and the other with a name starting with P? Because it looks like the name on the suits have the first initial, and then a few numbers.

My guess would be that in Heist, there is a route where you give the box to some aliens, and you get teleported to some weird place similar to this ending in Act 2. So I think the aliens stole it and then used it to resolve paradoxes.

I am pretty sure the old lady at the end is the same as the lady who, in the beginning during the introduction of the cryocore, can be heard saying "I think I am supposed to be asleep, but I don't think I am". one thing is certain; she returns on multiple occasions and she seems to be key to the story. also interesting to note: the cryopod that we, the captain, step into... has the same crewcode as Mark (M2702).

I made this theory in Tumblr the gem we have here is the exact shape and the blue shade as the one on The Box in AHWM as Mat commented. In A Heist With Markiplier we were able to hop and see other realities just like how we are able to in Space with Markiplier. This whole reality jumping is only blatant in Heist and Space and what do they share? Something that gives them the power to bend reality. The Box and the Gem. The Gem that's on The Box gave us that power and not the Box itself. (Edit: Sort of Spoilers warning down below and in comments) The Old lady, I call her Grandma because I can't remember her name, does show up in ISWM other times, with a failed Wake the Crew I unlocked but don't remember how. It was the first run and I completely forgot with the other runs. She, from my memory, does not appear in any other past projects but this one. Unless she has makeup or was an extra. That ending (specifically one with credits) is one of two if I remember right. Part 2 of Space will be published maybe when the Universe is rebooted, May 2nd if I remember right. There are two cases that I remember of Warfstache Easter eggs where he says that "We aren't supposed to meet yet" not until Part 2 and he herds us away and to the common Credit Ending. But hey, that's just a theory, a... Film(?) Theory! Thanks for reading!

i had the same thought about the crystal so i went back to heist and compared them side by side and your are right it is the same crystal!!! my next thought is then what comes first in a lore time line heist or space??? because i think in lore it is the exact same crystal that did the time traveling in both and if the tiny hints in this video that Matt said are right then then the Matt or Mack we see in heist in the same as Mack we see in space lots to think about and if soo how does this all connect to who killed mark or does it even connect the Warfstache Easter eggs could lead to a connection or just be that Easter eggs?????

45:20, the afterlife with markipler, I actually had this dream and it freaked me out. It was basically one of his random chatty live streams with two exceptions. The screen was was completely colourless, everything was shades of grey. And he was just casually talking about the afterlife like it was a may long getaway. The disconnect between him being goofy and cheerful and full of jokes, but discussing his death and his afterlife was so jarring. I think I woke up in cold sweats and shortness of breath.

My theory is that the ''Hold On'' AKA the good ending is inescapable. If you wake the crew it glitches out and he has the medal, (ultimately he goes in) if you fix it from the outside it glitches out out and he has the medal which means he went in, maybe the paradox anomaly the computer talks about isnt the actual paradox but maybe us solving the ''Paradox Anomaly'' is the actual paradox. You cant escape it. Also maybe thats the reason it starts all over again after you choose ''Let Go''. Fixing the anomaly is the actual paradox

While I feel everyone agrees Mat is gonna get more screen time in part 2, I have to wonder. Will he keep his trend of being almost exclusively brought to other channels productions for the sole purpose of being insane. Because I would like to see more insane Matpat. (Here's just a list of examples off the top of my head) A heist with Markiplier, FNAF the musical, Bendy and the ink musical. (Really it's mainly random encounters) Also Nate's mangled music video, but that was less him being insane and more Nate being insane.
