If Kat is allowed to rack up countless Strava QOMs against us mortals, it only seems fair that Mark be allowed to show up and dominate at youth triathlon events 😄. Kidding aside, this seemed like a great event format that I'd love to try someday!

"Too fat for the suit"??? Dude, y'all ain't fat.
@deanb612 жыл бұрын
yeah, why is all triathlon gear built for anorexomorphs? I got a HUUB suit as worn by Ali Brownlee...but it wasn't designed for mesomorphs. Yeah, I defo look fat in it, and my arms barely fit, like it was built for weedy cyclist arms!
@markmm292 жыл бұрын
Haha mate it’s a medium suit as that’s all I have and I’m now too big for it. And the excess wait is all beers and pizza. So no of course I’m not fat but I am too fat for that specific suit

I don’t know how these competitions work but do you need to have the kit to compete, like clipless pedals and shoes? Since they don’t sprint on the bikes, it feels like they are losing quite a lot of time to switch gear while they would be just as efficient with regular running shoes and pedals if they don’t sprint

Another great video, and looks like a lot of fun! But if my team came in 2nd or 4th, I’d be pretty upset. What do people think about separate or no medals for pros / ex-pros? I feel bad for the kids…
@markmm292 жыл бұрын
Only James is an Ex pro. I’m an age grouper that hasn’t raced in two years. Steph has never been a pro and nor has Heather. And as an Ex pro James wasn’t even the fastest soooo naaaa. Also the team in second seemed really happy
