I can easily break the world record. I will do: 76x50 all out swimming intervals with 2 min recovery between intervals. 180x1000 all out cycling intervals with 5 min recovery between intervals. 42x1000 fast running intervals with 5 min recovery between intervals. The intervals will spread within a week. Eeeeazy!

This looked like a lot of fun. Crazy how different you guys train compared to me, with my 10 year old P2 cervelo in my garage with no fancy equipment, just a crappy $30 indoor trainer. Swimming in a local lake with foggy goggles and without a wetsuit. And running in some walmart athletic shorts and my thrift store bought NBs. Haha admittedly your way seems a lot more fun.

Great effort, this really puts Jan's performance in perspective, but you can take consolation that this would get you first place any other year at Kona. Since running was your best split how about a relay attempt on the women's 5km WR or if your really ambitious the men's?

good effort... but you should compare this not to Frodos time under tough Kona conditions rather than to his all-time best for the ironman distance - 7 h 35'39" (at Challenage Roth)...including the transition times...

250-300Watts for 42km/h is insane. I weight 124KG and i avg 250 in a sprint triathlon recently and came to 32 km/h avg on a small technical course. others with same power avg 35 for same power. such a shame of being fat.
