Only discovered Buster in the last year after starting to listen to Jerry Reed more and trying to figure out how to play his songs. I ended up buying a number of his instructional videos and my finger style playing has improved significantly. He was a wonderful player and teacher. RIP Buster.

Got to see this guy in Florence OR about 01 or so and was blown away completely. He had already made it thru some serious health problems at that time. With him was a young student of his that he had transformed into a great picker of this style. Now that kid is carrying on the tradition and Brooks Robertson is his name.

Buster B (brad) jones was one of my guitar teachers here in Roanoke, VA. Brilliant player, but his teaching was really weird. He had his own name for chord positions. For example, a barred position G chord would be called a "claw" in Buster speak. Weird. He was just a genius.
