I've indeed felt it to be more fruitful to pray in Latin, but I'd say that most of the fruits come from the meditation of the Rosary itself, finding good meditations to pray on and the many virtues for each of the mysteries is excellent. Praying like that can sometimes take double the time, but it is worth it.

I’m sure it was not easy for the Cardinal to kneel! I’m a few years younger than him ( 70 in 2023) and it takes me, literally, 30 seconds to kneel, and only if I am holding on to a firm object, like a communion rail, or the railing on a prie-dieu. I’m so thankful my parish now allows us to kneel to receive the Eucharist, and to receive on the tongue! God bless the Cardinal! Such a holy man, a brave man, deserving of sainthood someday.

Our prayers are desperately needed, and this, reciting the Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, in Latin (the language of the Church, as was for many, many centuries - keeps it universal and the words are never altered to suit current fashion - the words in Latin are what they are). This precious, for me at any rate. Thank you! Languages of the cross Inscribed above the cross in three languages it says “This is Jesus the King of the Jews” in Hebrew, Greek and Latin, see Matt 27:37, Mark 15:26, Luke 23:38 and John 19:19. The Jews still use Hebrew in their prayers, the Orthodox still use Greek in their prayers and us Catholics need to start using more of Latin in our prayers. Satan detests these three languages, especially Latin, there is power and there is liberation when we use the language used for millennia against the enemy. Just ask any Exorcist. I am teaching my children Glory to God in the Highest in Latin from our church bulletin. I am teaching myself the Rosary before I lead them in it. Thank you for being our instructor.

Thanks Cardinal Burke for praying the holy rosary in Latin. I do go to holy mass in the vernacular every week and hope in Our Lord I'll continue doing so until death.

I learned how to pray in Latin.. I also listen to the rosary in Italian,English and Spanish...next is,Portuguese..
