Guan yu's biggest mistake was to let cao cao escape after the battle of chi bi. A mistake that led to his own dead

I know what happened between those two The three brothers were defeated by Cao Cao's army when they're trying to protect the Xu province that has been gifted to Liu bei and Guan Yu had to stayed behind to hold of Cao Cao's army in order to let Liu bei and Zhang Fei escape safely and after that he decided to spare Guan Yu because he saw first hand how talented Guan Yu was and we all know Cao Cao really values a talented officer Sometimes I think that Cao Cao even values Guan Yu more than his own generals to be honest😅

Believe it or not. Zhuge Liang actually wanted Cao Cao to escape, so he used Guan Yu's honor to let him escaped. That is why Guan Yu was placed as the last ambush during Cao Cao's Escape from Red Cliffs. He did it to not only make Wu allies, but also to use them to deal with Cao Cao while he is helping Liu Bei to gain Jing and Yi Province to build his own force to rival them both.

Ya know, I don't think I've ever played Dynasty Warriors 2. I've played 3 and on to include all the Empires games with tye exception of 9 Empires cause it sucks lol. I've also played all the Romance of the Three Kingdoms games. But never 2.
