I think all of them were at 6, the changes to their looks was just so good. Every game after I feel they just made them all similar to 5 or 7 which makes me sad

Yeah the trailer makes it seem like its a full on Destiny mode game which i pray it is. Also some bladestorm mechanic which should of been apart of both SW and DW vanilla games. We're getting tired of the 1v1000 where in every single Warriors games you have to do the objectives.

There's a lot of things that you mentioned in your video to be added to DW10 like the return of the old voice actors like Jamieson Price, historical vs hypothetical, no cloned movesets, etc. But there's at least one thing I would like to see that you didn't mention. And that is simply finish the story. Now I know that Koei had their reasons for stopping at the fall of Shu Kingdom, but that's not the whole story. Let us live the last battles of Wei and Wu so that we can at least get proper closure instead of briefly summarizing the events. I know you covered new characters you wanted to add, but let's at least cover the last years of the Three Kingdoms before the start of the Jin Dynasty (the war of the Eight Princes can be covered another time in a brand new game). I have no idea what Koei Tecmo is going to do with their next entry (Dynasty Warriors Origin) aside for allowing you to customize your own character to fight in the battles. It was just announce on the end of May, and it comes out in 2025 for the PS5. We'll just have to wait and see what they come up with. Hopefully they have learned from their mistakes in DW9.

This is, in my opinion, when Dynasty Warriors was at its peak. With Dynasty Warriors 5.

I started with DW2 which I loved, then I discovered DW4, which is my favorite. I'm currently playing DW5 and I find it quite short but more diverse in the characters' stories. DW9 was a disappointment... in previous games, getting 1000 kills in a battle was a feat in itself, now you just can 1000 kills in 15min... I hope Koei want drop the ball with DW origins...

Also everyone is too negative. Yeah I hear you, 9 was awful, but 9 was the only bad one in what, 12 entries? I am confident Origins will be great!

Ppl saying is a spin off but think about it. Samurai warriors 5 is a reboot, and now Dynasty Warriors has "Origins" in it? Sounds like a reboot to me, which is fine since DW already told all the stories that it had left and for people saying "Jin dynasty, 8 princess blah blah" thats a period with almost no heroes and extremely boring.

I remembered few of these cutscenes, feels like the good old days. Dw5 was and still is the best dynasty warriors game, loved the story mode, cutscenes and soundtrack. I'll forever love this game. The later titles were not as fun, DW8 was good but this one was just different.

Dynasty Warriors Origins = Dynasty Warriors 2 but a reboot/remake. <---- facts...maybe!

Not a Dynasty Warrior game, but unlocking Orochi X in Warriors Orochi 2 is hell for me. Since the requirement is to beat all stages in Dramatic Mode, you need to unlock all the stages, where some of the also have specific requirements, like maximizing proficiency of certain character and such.

I'm really curious on how DW 10 is gonna turn out. Hoping it's as good as the videos I saw. 🤗

I have no faith in this game at all, I’m a long time warriors player and like many hated 9, that bs reason of realism for why everyone was using the same weapons creating an entire cast of clones annoyed me to no end, you can make 80 odd unique weapons for 8 but couldn’t think of like 7 or so more for 9? 9 felt like proof to me that KOEI was putting more effort behind the third party warriors games like Zelda and Fire Emblem over their OG warriors games. Then they made the terrible decision to not use the open world for the DW9 Empires game, the one thing DW9 had to offer an empires game. Then came SW5, it was like let’s give this game a gorgeous coat of paint but cut the roster and the story down and make them all clones again. Which does make me wonder if Orochi and Empires games are now gone for good? To top all that off, the person who is producing this game is the guy who was the director for DW6 and DW Next, no faith at all in this game. P.S, Also there are still famous people who never got a chance at being playable, to avoid an exhaustive list I’ll name just one Hao Zhao, the man who outsmarted Zhuge Liang during one of his Northern campaigns. Instead I expect we are getting a cut roster again, and the 2 things I hate seeing in this series is cut rosters and clones.

6 was the first DW game I’ve played and ever since that I played the originals and even the recent ones and I have to say I definitely loved Lu Bu in DW6 like the way he put fear in all the traitors causing confusion in the land, him showing how fearless he is going up against both Dong Zhuo and Zhang Jiao rising back up from the grave, and defeating every ruler from every army and ruling the land is just crazy. It also shows he respects his army more and he isn’t strength crazy like dw8 Lu Bu was but he kept one shotting me in this game and that’s when I knew the never mess with him till you’re max level or do like exploits or something but 8s main story and hypothetical was honestly really good it shows what has happened not all history accurate but for the most part it is and things that could’ve happened but dw6 stopping a flood from hitting him with his weapon is crazy.

Fighting Lu Bu ,max level, final weapon, on easy.......he will still 2 shot you sometimes, one hitter quitter I learned a long time ago not to mess with Lu Bu, unless you truly know what you're doing

I'ma be real this isn't what I wanted from them as another dynasty warriors game specifically but I will keep an open mind about it till we get more concrete stuff for it cus if this helps put these games back on the right track or better track I should say then I will be all for it.

Pleeeeessss just do destiny mode the right way... if they do the hole game being just destiny mode how it should have being we can have again peak dinasty warriors... maybe be more direct in making the generals move to different locations instead of just attacking stuff...

Yuan Shao from DW2 to 5E was a pretty good character, especially in 3XL. From 6 onwards it was decadence... Same thing Jiang Wei (but I particularly like this one).
