Kevin, you should do what Jason of Cogg Hill Farm does to remember to turn off the water. Jason and his wife got spiral hair bands for each of their water hydrants in different colors. Jason takes the hair band off the water hydrant handle and puts it in his wrist when he turns on the water. When he turns off the water, he puts the hair band back on the handle of the water hydrant. If he has the band still on his wrist, he knows the water is still on. I pray that all of Oklahoma gets several days of just gentle rain.

Kevin. Can u imagine how hard it will be to find homes for extra large mixed breed dogs these days. Shelters and rescues are at all time highs and adoption rates are at all time Lowes. They are being put to sleep in record numbers. It was a great experience and you got a wonderful puppy Russell out of the deal I think it’s time to count your blessings and think about her soon The sooner the better now that she is out of season some vets will not do it if they are a month or further along in a pregnancy at that point you will have 10 dogs that you do not know if they are purebred in order to sell them as you did last time. A mix can look pure. U wouldn’t be able to know for sure. They can have a litter out of two different males. To sale them as pure would not be very ethical as without DNA testing u would not know. And finding homes for exlarge muts would prove almost impossible these days. Ask anyone who works at animal shelters. U have been a very responsible animal owner to this point I’m sure u will make the right decision. Look up some statistics from recent times if u need to find a good reason to tell these viewers opposed to her getting spayed as to the record # being put to sleep in shelters these days. The homes r not out there ❤

Really enjoyed this video!❤️ Skeeter may be the cutest just by the way he runs and jumps and goes on adventures around the farm. Just love him!!! 🥰 Very smart breed. He is also by nature a hunter dog… but for rats!!🤷♀️ Did you know: The word schnauzer means beard. The original purpose of the Miniature Schnauzer was to catch rats on farms. Yup!😁 Our little schnauzer first brought this to my attention one Halloween when she became “obsessed” over our plastic rat out for decor with a plastic crow and spider. She always grabbed that rat and would run off and shake it and lie down with it infront of her. She would do what Leeske did with that raccoon!!! Protect it and not want anyone near it or to touch it. Was hilarious. And Yes, a plastic rat. ( it looked really realistic too for a 🐀 !) Anyways, I enjoyed seeing Skeeter!🤩🥰 BTW… You often make me giggle…so thanks for that! It’s great how you talk to the animals!😁 P.s. I Forget my hose on alot too, but it’s got a nozzle at the end thank goodness.🤣 “Family Fridays” would be cool once in a while so we get to see them interact as well.😉😇 … just a thought.🤷♀️😁 Great family you have!🤗🥰

Hi Kevin & Rachel, enjoyed your latest video from down on your farm. Is it possible kora the guarding dog is leaving because there are now two male dogs in her outdoor area. And the fact that she is now pregnant. in the wild a dog would move away to protect her off spring from being killed by the male dog. So it might just be that she doesn't feel in a safe place to give birth this time round. Hope you can find a good outcome for kora, and peace of mind for the rest of your family in the coming months. Great to hear about your plans for fattening a pig up for the table. I'm sure there will be some funny videos to come with the new arrival. look forward to your next update from your farm, all best wishes as always to you and your family ♥️
