@@starbrand3726 also, The Grandmaster in the MCU implies in Ragnarok that he is not actually naturally immortal, and that the timey wimey shenanigans surrounding Sakaar were why he was so long-lived. @@starbrand3726 Nah. Marvel Studios already did that plot device with the Mandarin in Iron Man 3, and critics were quite vocal about their disdain for the ploy. They wouldn't turn around and do the same thing again, especially not with such an important cosmic character. Plus, they wouldn't cast Jeff Goldblum as a fake non-comics character impersonating a comics character. Not even Disney could be cruel enough to disrespect Jeff Goldblum like that.

Interesting. Baby Groot (no relation to, but the obvious inspiration for, Baby Yoda) is a plant. Baby Groot is growing by the propagation of a living twig from large Groot, and is 100% genetically identical to adult Groot. It is clearly implied that Baby Groot does not possess the full set of memories of the fully-grown but splintered Groot, but I've never considered him to be a different creature, and always expected him to grow into the same adult Groot eventually.

First, for some reason I don't even know, we capitalize the K in 'OK.' Second, 'Brazilian' is a proper noun, so we capitalize the B. Last, the punctuation is perfectly acceptable for casual conversation, but in a formal setting like business or education, it would be more proper to do this: "OK, I love this movie. For me, Ronan was an immediate improvement on Malakith, simply because they let Lee Pace just be imposing, threatening and gave him moments where he could go a little over the top, and while Malakith just got his ass handed to him constantly, Ronan actually got some good hits in and absolutely destroys Drax twice. So while he's not Loki/Thanos/Killmonger level, he is a pretty good villain by MCU standards.

The guy who said " Captain gotta teach them" Is Sean Gunn brother of director James Gunn who directed both Guardian movies. Reportedly Sean also provided the motion capture VFX for the Rocket Character. During the Collectors visual presentation of the Infinity stones you saw a glimpse of what's called a Celestial being. In particular that was Eson the Searcher using the Power Stone to wipe out life on an entire planet. Celestials are immensely huge and powerful beings possibly over 2000 feet tall and the collectors headquarters was inside the head of a dead celestial. Also re-watch the scenes with the Collector you may see a few familiar creatures in his collection. One from the Avengers and one from the Thor the dark world.

I know how this will sound, but... I liked Howard the Duck. It wasn't the best movie Lucas ever did, of course, but I thought the script was funny. It was just weird over all, but it was funny... to me, I mean.

The '80's Howard the Duck movie has Lea Thompson in it. She was Marty's mom in Back to the Future. Also, the director confirmed that this Groot is dead and that Baby Groot/Teenage Groot is its offspring.

The dog is Cosmo, he is actually fairly powerful character in the comics. The talking duck thats Howard the duck. Not as powerful but one of the many oddball characters that pop up from time to time.

The scene with the line up of the guardians when they get arrested shows some details. If you look at gamoras, it says that gamora is the last survivor from her planet which means when thanos wiped out 50% of her home world to help it thrive it didn’t actually work. Thanks didn’t go back to the planet and check the remaining 50% was still alive.

It’s never explicitly explained, but when Groot dies that’s it, he’s genuinely dead. The replanting of part of him allows him to be reborn but not the same version of him. So this Groot is Rocket’s best friend, but baby Groot and teen Groot are more like his son. Interestingly enough it’s confirmed that when Groot vanishes after the snap, when he says “I am Groot”, he’s calling Rocket ‘Dad’. And that post credit scene is Howard the Duck. Had a film in the 80’s, terrible film, but he also appears in Endgame jumping out a portal. Appears again in Guardians 2 but it’s unclear if Marvel actually have any long term plans for the character.

Now you get why in Infinity War, Rocket looks at Winter Soldier and says "oh, I'm gonna get that arm." "Drax, don't do something stupid man -" apparently you don't know Drax yet. That's his superpower. This is the first time they did an after-credit scene that wasn't meaningful and didn't set anything else up. It was just pure cornball, which is kinda the whole point of this movie. Both Howard the Duck and Cosmo the Space Dog were old Marvel characters who aren't very important in the grand scheme of things.

End credits featuring Howard the Duck and Cosmo. Howard the Duck was a sardonic asshole in the comics. He first appeared in Marvel in the 70s and laid the groundwork for characters like Deadpool. Cosmo the space dog is a Soviet dog with psychic abilities who was fired into space. In comics, he acts as security chief for Knowhere.

And now that Kevin Bacon Footloose talk between the guardians, Peter Parker and Tony has more of a punchline to it, because you see the reference started from this movie. Idk if you caught what was being said when Yondu got the orb container from Peter and had that discussion about them being glad they didn't drop Peter off to his dad as a kid, because he was a "jackass". Then the surprise about him being half of a super ancient alien.....makes it even more of a badass surprise. Can't lie. I wish he would have met an old one.

Deadpool wasn't part of the MCU at first because they didn't have the film rights for the X-Men, but last I heard Deadpool is going to be merged with the MCU- Deadpool 3 is currently in development, and will be the only R-rated MCU film.
