She literally got beaten down over and over again, trying to get us out of the EU like we voted, and then she gets blamed when it doesn't happen, when even the MPs themselves couldn't vote on an alternative action. I am not interested in politics, nor do I believe in borders, or wars, or even countries, but I think that this woman being forced out of a job she loved before her time was up is a disgrace. It is very sad that someone is defending something she is not responsible for, and she was not even a defender of the UK's exit from the European Union, and she had to fight so hard and without any success. if the british political class can not understand itself, then ask the English people if they really want to stay or leave Europe, I'm sure at this stage they really now what to decide. She loves her country? Then why was she so willing to give us over to the EU? And put her own citizens 2nd or 3rd on the list! Did she care that people were starving and homeless? Did she care about Melanie Shaw and other survivors? No! They've been persecuted before she was even PM. How many times did she laugh in Parliament, when Corbyn brought up real life situations of people suffering?? Not that I like him either. What goes around, comes around. But it's ok, because she will never know what it's like to be hungry or homeless.

@Weird-City5 жыл бұрын
May was (as her predecessor) a staunch remainer). Her only purpose - to pass time. Precisely what she did. Time is the remainers' best friend. Time will change public opinion (as young voters come of age and the elderly fade). In that respect - sure she served the country she loves. But at what price?
@anothercynicalbrit64515 жыл бұрын
haha you think young voters want to be in the EU, i think that is your biggest mistake. The eu is an empire and the people of this country will see that no matter what age.
@bighands695 жыл бұрын
WeirdCity If the UK does not leave the EU what this will demonstrate is that politics does not matter and that there is no point voting. There are whole regions of the UK right now who are disillusioned with the state of British culture, politics and voting. This could set off a series of events not seen in the UK since the 1930s. I doubt that the politicians in office really understand the fire they are playing with.
@Weird-City5 жыл бұрын
@@bighands69Okay. But now take into account the passing of time. Polls are already showing massive public lethargy over Brexit. Some show a total swing on Brexit. Time is a powerful tool in politics. Remember Iraq and the WMD's. A little time was all it took (in the form of the farcical Chilcot inquiry) - and the vast majority of the British public had moved on with their lives. If you genuinely cannot see that this is nothing more than an exercise in "buying time" - then I really don't know what I could say that could convince you otherwise. But if 3 years of time wasting isn't enough to motivate the British voters to rise up, how long do you think is? Do you believe Brexit is still a majority view? Does it matter if it isn't? Are the Russians laughing their ushanka's off? I guess time, will tell!
