Coaches from the Aoba Johsai (Oikawa's team) are actually doing great by scouting their opponents. They're not just talking randomly abouy stuff and Karasuno but they are acutually watching them play in preparation for their match even if they didn't acually know who are they going up against between Dateko and Karasuno. Yeah it's great to strengthen and focus on your team but it's also good to track what your opponents are doing to be familiarize about them. And these things are acutally happening in real life and in sport competition you'll hear people talking and scouting. And in the part where Nishinoya save the ball by his foot, yeah it's very legal. It's allowed to use any part on your body as long as the ball doesn't touch the floor. Great reaction again.

Aone (gentle giant) and Futakuchi are 2nd years. You can tell by their jersey #'s. Third years usually start from 1 to maybe 4-6, then second years, and so on. Usually, #1 is for captains, but sometimes, like in Date Tech's case, it's another 3rd year (#2 Moniwa). That's why Kageyama wears #9, Hinata #10, and Tsukki #11, even though they're starters.

I love your reactions to the Nishinoya leg save! Yes, it is absolutely legal to do that, but it's meant as a "last resort" kind of save. I remember when I first saw it, I went 'O'. I know the ball rolling on the tape is a bit of "drama," but it does happen sometimes (it's really rare, though). That's what I love about this show; the situations aren't overly unrealistic, even though the situations might be rare. I'm not sure if you noticed when Tsukki was talking to Asahi that there was a moon under Tsukki and a sun under Hinata. It'll be more important later (you've probably already gotten there, but in case you haven't, I won't say anything else). I cannot wait for your reactions to the next match!

Idk if you’ve watched Coach Donny’s reactions to haikyu. But he’s said that the “stopping set quick”, the “freak quick” & the amount of times they use a triple block are the most unrealistic things about the show. The rest of it is actually pretty accurate

@@ARMYALEX1869 I've NEVER seen a net-roll in middle/HS volleyball irl. I see it all the time in anime/movies/skits. Maybe once or twice in pro/beach games, but never in this demographic. Basketball is pretty much incomparable to this, rolling around the rim is a LOT easier than rolling on these nets.

I had to shut my mouth forcefully the first time I watched it, and I STILL get sweaty whenever the hype gets me excited. Captains have an underline under their number. It's usually 1 but not always and the vice captain is right after it. Ace is usually 4 but in Karasuno 4 is Noya ^^
