Oh my goodness, I just love this line. I know that it’s not everybody’s cup of tea, but there’s something Guerlainesque about it that I love so much.Probably the scent development and how it takes you on a journey.My favourite from the line is definitely Santal Royal- I am on my second bottle and with this one I discovered that it has kind of “Burning wood chip” like quality. The opening has this roughness that you mentioned for sure , but later it calms down and especially on clothes/ scarves it lays veeeery smooth. X

You've got such a pleasant aura. I've just ordered a decent as lately I've been loving Patchouli, althought they do sort of "misdirect" with les absolute d'orient. I've tried Bois Mystérieux, Encens Mythique, Santal Royale this of gonna be my fourth.

This one interests me. I love Patchouli and from your review, this one just might offer me a different perspective on the note. I just started watching your videos about three months ago and you have quickly become a favorite. you are the king of tantalizing tangents....having worn this on my skin, i would never in a million years have conjured up all the imagery in my head. kinda' hilarious actually. on a completely different note, when your stomach growled, i heard it, and thought it was mine !!! :))) i enjoyed this perfume but love bois mysterieux..

I still didnt try anything from this line, but i did buy Santal Royal, Oud Essentiel and Ambre Eternel samples. Patchouli being my favorite note, i cannot wait to get my hands on this one...

I resisted the Patchouli note for few years and now I just love it. My favorite is Patchouly Indonesiano by Farmacia Annunciata which is the Holy Grail of all patchoulis. Second is Classic Patchouli by Von Euserdorff. Try them Persolaise, you will convert :-) The story regarding Bond N9 and Sebastian was very disturbing.

I like patchouli when it is well blended with other notes, I am scared of it when too strong. I don't like Balenciaga by Balenciaga and don't like Bottega Veneta Velour I hate both of them because the patchouli is too strong in both of them. But I like GIrl Of Now, Kayali Elixir, patchouli notes are well blended; So far from that Line I like Santal Royal, Bois Mysterieux, Musc Noble is my fave ooooooh yesssssss
