Nice finds, Guerssen is a great place to get hard to find reissue releases. Love your Tshirt. My girlfriend made and printed (with my help) silk screen Tshirts, large wall hangings and backdrops in our apartment in the early 1980's. Our large Hawkwind banner with that same 3rd album image you are wearing sold for $20 back in 1980 and are now selling for hundreds of dollars online (we printed about 100 between 1980-83). You can see the backdrop we did for Canadian punk band The Forgotten Rebels on their you tube videos, not a popular image today! I just picked a test pressing from Geurssen of Belgian band Waterloo and their album Second Battle. Fantastic record. Cheers.

Nice video man, loving the Banana Moon, Electric Prunes and the Colosseum 45 pick up,i enjoy their albums too,i do have a Gary Burton Quintet cd,a bit too jazzy for my tastes as not enough rock,while Colosseum have the balance good, but more Rock than jazz.....As for Creation Of Sunlight,one of my faves, i'm a big SAC fan, so i enjoy those SAC vibes on that album! Enjoyable video as ever Derek,all the best from a really cold Edinburgh ,👍

The BananaMoon lp was one of Bowie’s favorite albums. I used to have a copy of it as I was such a big Softs fan. Still am. Wish I still had it.

Nice pick ups Derek. I also pre ordered Dantalions chariot and Creation of Sunlight even though I have an OG of Creation which I have shown. I show my copy of the Wah Wah release in my next video and I agree that cover is much better. By the way Zoot was the organ player.

Howdy Derek, looking good as always, great pickups, I remember that day well when we were all guessing what was the grail score that Derek was teasing us with, I think I threw Sunlight up as one of my guesses .. Sunlight is as rare as sasquatch hair and now need a loan for lol, and then you bring in the Cloud, yeah those were great finds, The Kettle is just as good as it gets for most days lol, Have a great Thanksgiving man, cheers ✌

Hey man. I definitely have to get that Dantalian's Chariot, it's a must own. Guerrsen is killing it, and killing my bank account. Creation Of Sunlight is another one I'm purchasing for sure, reissue of course. Banana Moon great album, I'm down with anything Gong related. I loved the intro, The Kettle is a killer indeed. Would love to have that 45. I am indeed tempted by that Dantalian's Chariot. I love their single for one but don't know if I'm grabbing that. Perhaps. Guerssen is indeed been really great these days. I think Underground made my top 25 psych all-time, I know it was up there. It ranks pretty highly to me and I think this one checks out with Stereo being the right way to hear those effect-laden tracks. Fun to see Gary Burton at the end there, don't think I've checked that out. Looking forward to pulling my copy of the Daevid Allen. Killer one.

I know you're on that reissue purge, but archived studio sessions hit different! Haha. Chariot is excellent. It was either Banana Moon or Magick Brother I was going to track down this year. Still on the hunt for a few early Gong titles.

The Kettle is on the ABC / Dunhill Lp: Colosseum-Those-Who-Are-About-To-Die-Salute-You. It can be had for very cheap. I'm not huge on them, but it's an ok album, worth it for the Kettle alone.

Derek, I couldn't agree more, Colosseum is pretty lame, but The Kettle is a just a killer! Fantastic! It's a text book example where I'm searching for the single instead of the LP. I love those kinds of 45s. Good luck with everything, cheers!

Dantalian's Chariot were pretty cool. Got the original "Madman..." 45, plus the Tenth Planet LP. The band appeared in the "half lost" film, (25 or so minutes has been located), Popdown from 1969, with features footage of the band! Agree, "Underground" is the Prunes best, with the first being a bit more garagey.

I like Colosseum. I haven’t heard any Gong that hits me. I saw Stone The Crow with Maggie Bell on vocals. What do you think of the Live Electric Prunes? Gary Burton album has some good tracks.

Stone The Crows, that's the band I was trying to think of. I have the Stockholm 67 LP. Ken Williams really shines best on that live set. Essential Prunes.

i found a RE copy of Creation of Sunlight on the VOID label. Which looks kinda suspect -label-wise. Heard anything about how that label was involved? The cover is the same OG orange look back and front and they included an insert sheet with the track listing! Whatever, it sounds great to me!

I know Void's label owner & he claims to have paid the musicians behind the releases. Small-run copies, but sound quality is tricky when discussing that label. Thankfully the Sunlight on Void is reportedly great.

@@PsycheDerek. I can tell the sound quality can be disputed as somewhat tinny-but Im glad to get it at any rate since its so scarce. Also no way to compare so -why worry about it as long as i plays clean?
