Multi-instrumental artist CAM FORRESTER performs an authentic cover version of the unfinished raunchy-rock song 'Guess I'm Falling In Love' by The Velvet Underground (a track which the band performed often throughout 1967-8, but never officially released on a studio album), in a video recreation of a 1967-era Velvet Underground concert at the Boston Tea Party, by using a backdrop collage made from several period photos of the original venue, as well as authentic music equipment, stage presentation, lighting effects, and intense Andy Warhol-style zooming & panning.
This cover is based the version recorded live at The Gymnasium in 1967, as well as the brief excerpts showing the song being played during Andy Warhol's film of the band performing at the Boston Tea Party in 1967.
As always, I transcribed and interpreted each part as faithfully to the original performances as I reasonably could, while making conservative use of tasteful improvements in keeping with the integrity of the music. I also did my best to replicate the overall mix and stereo image of the original, just with added clarity gained from recording each instrument part individually.
