Not one person asked if the swallow was African or European? What has happened to British culture?!

well, the question was asked in the UK, and as we all know, African Swallows are non-migratory

@@MercenaryPen Sure, but what if two European swallows carried an African swallow by the husk?

My first on the first board was Mockingbird, and if I was anywhere but first in turn order on the second board, it would have afforded me a punt on Roller Coaster risklessly, which I would have got! For a total of 52. If I was first in turn order on the second board though I would have done Rocking Robin for a much higher score...

The robins shown nesting outside the nursery window in _Mary Poppins_ (1964) are American robins. It was a deliberate decision to avoid confusing American audiences.

In the same way "The madness of George III" was renamed as "The madness of King George" to stop Americans being confused and wanting to know what happened to the first two films: The madness of George The madness of George II

I thought Fly Like an Eagle was Steve Miller Band.

I was also unaware that Seal has a song with that name. I'm sure the Steve Miller version is superior.

Seal covered the Steve Miller version.

i don't think that one was released in the UK, or it didn't reach the top 40

And the Chatham Island Robin here in New Zealand is not related to either of them, and does not have a red breast!

The American Robin is a thrush family member, and its breast is more chestnut than red.

British “settlers” thought its color resembled their European robin, so that is how the name came to be. They are indeed thrushes, and so are much more closely related to another thrush, the Bluebird. European robins are members of the flycatcher family.
