Ok. So Wink's "Merry Christmas Eve" video is just another pilot episode to another game show that didn't get picked up. Good! I thought for a moment there that he would bore us with a yule log and Christmas music, but no, he spared us from that, thank goodness.

This is SO amazing! I’ve been waiting to see the entire pilot. This show was good enough and unique enough to have sold. Thank you so much for finally posting the entire episode! Thanks again and Merry Christmas and I look forward to seeing more of these videos. Keep up the great work 😊

You know, with a bit of retooling, this show could work for Game Show Network or even FOX today. It's a really great concept, it's like if Peggle had its own show. It really does have a lot of potential.

The main game was terrific. The bonus round felt discombobulated. Clint seemed to let the game come to him rather than him running it.

Had this made it to series - those payouts in this pilot would've likely been far lower - unless this was for syndication.

This combined elements of Blockbusters, Jeopardy, Wheel Of Fortune and The Magnificent Marble Machine meets Plinko. This was fun to play along with.

1:36 Hogan’s Family, Clint? Actually, it could be an interesting idea. After Valerie Harper leaves the show, Sandy Duncan steps in and reunites with the missing pilot played by Bob Crane. He moves the whole family to a World War II prison camp to join the the allied prisoners, and when the kids clash with the German military officers, hijinks ensue.

Interesting premise, Plinko meets "Your Number's Up"-- you have two possible prompts to begin the round with, and you choose which one to start. Then you have to solve the phrase or name the prompt nudges you to. You can then do like "Bullseye" and either take the money but pass your turn, or keep playing with the risk if you get it wrong, your opponent can take what's accumulated. Each prompt thereafter must be done as presented.

I liked it. It definitely should've sold in syndication. It's exactly what I thought it would be from the quickie you posted years ago. I can assume that if both teams failed to solve the phrase in the first three rounds, the pot money goes onto the display between the two teams, representing "limbo". So, if a team solves the next phrase, they get that money as well as the pot money. Merv Griffin and King World would've had another hit on their hands. Merv was a creative genius.

If this show became a series today, you know they would've gotten the Peggle license. Why didn't this sell? This looks REALLY fun! Super-threatening sounds and music in the wagering round, though...and the host is mediocre at best. But this is a VERY solid show! I wish this had made television!

This game is what I would consider almost fully baked. The main game is good and that is some high value on the puzzles. The final round is the one that needs improvement. I like the wager element. I almost would rather it be a challenge type of round heck even a double dare type of round. Player A here is the puzzle play or pass. Player B here is the puzzle if you get it right you can challenge them for double your wager. This is better than most of the Wheel of Fortune style games, and should have made it to TV. I loved the set too looked great and it looked like it would have fit on NBC nicely.

Amazing how many puzzles they couldn't get. I got most of them.

I remember Games Magazine having some puzzles like this, but I think you were given only initials, not a whole word, for example, GWSH. Maybe they threw in a number for a hint, like T7LF. Anyway, a decent idea for a game show. It was fun to play along as the phrases got more difficult. Too bad it never made it. George Washington Slept Here The Seven Little Foys

A great format, with great back-and-forth play; with only press or bank, the "Uhming" and "Ahing" of usual crossfire game shows are replaced by those shots of the balls falling, some simple kinetic joy. I don't feel like the celebrities added much - if anything, they detracted, because with two people to guess one word, there wasn't enough of a skill element to the game. And of course, the end game was inscrutable; what was the point of betting and claiming they could win a "lot of money" if it didn't increase or decrease scores? That said, the production was clean, the host was great, and I'd happily tune in each week for this one.

I liked the game a lot. Host not so much. I also think the money amounts were too steep, even for a syndicated game. Winfall would have turned into Pitfall.
