Fun fact: originally Beast had a bigger role in the 1st movie, but this was before he became a furry. They were trying to figure out how to do the change, on or off-screen, practical or still difficult fully digital cgi fx, etc. Eventually, they decided to do some with make-up, then farm out the rendering of the blue-ish fur to an outside company that could do it cheaper. Which is why they nicknamed the sequel: Blue Harvest, which was the original name for Star Wars. 🙂

Just to clarify, Charles is screaming while the coin is going through Nazi Kevin Bacon's head because Charles is in his head and feeling the coin go through. It's why we see the camera pan past his head at the same rate the coin is passing through in the parallel shot. Pretty awesome scene.
