Julia has same face syndrome in the funniest way where like,… she obviously KNOWS how to draw unique and interesting characters (just look at Drawtectives), but she just… actively CHOOSES to always go for the most existentially dreadful deadpan guy with a weird hairline. My feeling has always been that Julia has the same thing I do where I can’t fully visualize things in my head. Faces are impossible. It means creating things involves a lot of moving and waiting for a vibe to follow. Doing something spontaneously (like drawing a specific person I haven’t learned the specific measurements for) isn’t possible. It’s effective eventually but obnoxiously time consuming.

Julia is very endearing and I love her brain, but my brain must be the complete opposite because I am terribly confused all of the time 😅 My memory is very color-oriented, so I already have trouble with the grayscale guessing games. Besides that, I remember the overall shapes/features/proportions of things, but I forget a lot of details. It seems like Julia's memory "zooms in" on a lot of details, but doesn't hold on to the big picture very well. But in this challenge, Julia doesn't have to try to match the original silhouette, she can just frankenstein the character's features onto a man shape and fill in the gaps with vibes. So, in my case, the only thing I had to go off was vibes, and my mind was mostly blank. The only thing I guessed was winnie the poo, because he is the same shape as the OG and I recognized the tshirt and honeypot. All that's to say; everbody's brain is special, I definitely do not collect brains in jars, and I probably take the guessing game too seriously 😂
