Why did I have to scroll down so far to find this comment? I agree. Our dog is only a demi-dane, and even after a period of intensive weight lifting, my spouse is not remotely close to being able to lift her, let alone carry her. With dogs, you've got the weight aspect, but also the 'sack of jelly dead weight' factor. It's a tricky prospect all around, and I think that it would easily result in becoming ripped.

@@1000PaperBunnies In my experience, danes are pretty chill much of the time. I knew one who had it out for medium-sized dogs, but other than that could barely be bothered to go for a walk. Mine can get a bit frisky, even in her old age, but I think that's the lab portion.

In Nathan's defense in most backstories Shaggy is a varsity gymnast, and in some they go so far as to say he tried out for the olympics. Also in the first episode of Scooby Doo they show that he has enough of vertical leap to get into a second story window, add onto that the fact that he run at the speed of a great dane, about 20-35mph and he can maintain that speed while carrying Scooby and/or Velma, I think it would be fair to say that Shaggy should be pretty fit, like maybe not completely jacked, but at least pretty shredded.

To be totally fair it wasn’t meant to be a sex is bad type thing, he doesn’t lose his soul until the peaceful post sex bliss as he laid in bed with her, and at least in my interpretation and most I’ve seen, it’s the love and beauty of the post sex moment that caused his moment of true happiness, not the climax itself. Just an interpretation, I think it’s interesting/food for thought. Also if anyone’s specifically interested he loses his soul in s2 episode 13, surprise, and the fallout is episode 14, innocence. Buffy didn’t tend to demonize intimacy and actually had one of the very first on screen main character lesbian couples on tv, and I won’t deny that certain aspects don’t age well at all, sex=bad wasn’t really on the agenda

Mhm actually (pushes up glasses, /j) Astarion, as a half elf, would have had a lifespan of approximately 180 years according to the 5e PHB IF he wasn’t a vampire spawn, which extended his lifespan. Thus, 139 would be plenty old to be a magistrate AND doesn’t reflect the actual age at which Astarion likely stopped aging due to his vampirism.

How could Nathan be expected to know anything about a character if he hasn't pounded them raw? Obviously bg3 is nothing more then nasty sex, not an interesting adult story about a bunch of fucked up queer folk that also includes sex if you want to take it in that way, right? I think the only part of that that was mathematically interesting was where they tried to find the average words per chapter and the average number of chapters per fic and then tried to extrapolate average words per fic from that which I _think_ wouldn't have worked at all even if all the numbers they fed in were perfectly accurate. By analogy, length times width is the area of a rectangle, but multiplying a set of rectangles' average length by the set's average width doesn't give you its average area (and there's no upper bound on how wrong it can be).
