when I was first exploring in my mind the possibility that I might be a lesbian, I was 36. I was tearing my hair out (no worries, just figuratively lol) trying to find resources or some connection with the gay community. I bussed to work. I saw two women at the bus stop one day, in their 40s, I'd say. My gaydar screamed that they were a couple. But I had never come out to anyone or even talked to anyone in the community. So I just stood there. I saw one of the women frequently at the stop until I moved about a year later. never spoke to her, just too shy lol. a couple years later, when I was out, I went to a community dance. there they were, both of them. Yeah, they'd been together for decades. Gaydar is a thing!!
