Guide through the menu and settings from the RT7

my first english video :)
it is about handling the new RT7 menu and settings for getting most out of this baitboat.
The guide through fittes also to the RT4 V4 from Carplounge tackle
hopefully it is not as bad and help's a little to avoid user faults
(i dont want to win a grammy with this video so i'm not watching to mutch on the quality)

Again be watching previous videos you have done in german to which i don’t understand but got a-lot of information just from images but now you took the brave leap to do in english was fantastic you was very brave to take the challenge on and a massive thank you for that been waiting for my rt7 since march and i think delivert due early august and after watching certainly feel a-lot more confident in using it due to this video in english much appreciated 👌👍

Super explanation. Watched this back and forward many times...really helped me build a knowledge base. The pens are also very useful if your hands are covered in bait etc...keeps the screen of AIO clean.

Loved the video and even though I understand German quiet well (Mum was a language teacher and specialised in German and ran all the school exchange trips so used to having as a kid lots of Germans in the house) your English is way better than my present speaking of German so credit due to you for doing this in English saves my pure old tired mind from translating

Really appreciate it mate thank you, 1 more question, I no you can go back and look at the lake in 3d after mapping, but can you go back and look in real vision if I was to buy it and mark a pacific hole to drop my bait, would it come up like the 3d map but in more detail or not thank you

you‘r welcome 🙏 yes you also can go back in the realvision but due to the fact that i’m using the sidescan most of the time i just can tell you it works in the same way as the other trackback function

Used boat this weekend on lake for first time , really good video helped me a lot plus thx for messages via Facebook in helping me solve a few problems. I managed to raster a couple of pegs on lake is it possible to join these so eventually I will have a map of complete lake ? Thx again

Hi mate: ) you are welcome. Yes when you have enough rasters/mapping log's and the space between them is not to big you can go into map-creation and choose all the mapping-logs of the specific lake and put them togehter to one lake-map

Is there a way now to hide saved spots. It can get very cluttered when they are close together. It would also be useful to hide them when showing an overlay with depths for example.

Question about the recordings from raster point mappings, aka mapping an entire peg or part of the lake automatically. Is it possible for us to use features such a Hypervision, Sidevision and other premium functions on recordings? Or are those functions available only during 'live' mapping?

So using boat everything is awesome. Only slight issue is with main lights. I can switch on and off but the dimming on hold does not seem to work. I've tried switching to another button but same. Always seems to go to brightest. I then adjest back to say 30% and test dim it does up. Then when I switch on and off it always goes back to bright.

Thank you, sorry another question, lets say I am in point A and I set a waypoint then i move 3000+ meters, when i turn on the boat/remote can i send it to the saved waypoint even though is too far or I am going to get a error message saying is too far or no enough battery? @@OBK1234_carpangler

did not try that ... normlay it should be possible due to the points where given to the boat ..... so give it a try when it is secure that you dont loose your boat while testing

Great video its helped me alot, just got a question, everytime i put the aio on charge the tablet comes on, so i turn it off and it keeps coming back on any ideas as to why it wont charge with the screen off?

It works if I don't use the cable that come with the boat, but it charges very slow, I haven't got anything better than a c plug charger that come with my phone

i bought me an USB-C charger by myself ISY 65w universal usb-c GaN charger and there is a cable inkluded and with that it works fine but when using the original delivered cable at the usb-c cigaret-plug it works to without the screen turns on there is just a short view of the charging batterie symbol on the screen for 5 sec

soil structure shows the hardness through the button and surface is about the upper ca 10cm of the button

Yeah i have the holder on and the tripod but i cant seem to fit the 2 together its like the bracket on the tripod does not go wide enough

not easy to answer, i have the brushed lownoise motors to and with full speed i am able to do 2acres mapping in 5mtr squares before both batteries are empty (15Ah batteries) normally i would say two set of 10 Ah are enough

Tell me, in stealth mode the boat's on/off button doesn't light up, how to install it, otherwise it's not clear whether the boat is on or not

as i mentioned in the facebook group, stealth mode is part of the advanced licences in teh app you have to check your account in the app and when the advanced licencs or premium not is activated then the stealth mode will not work in this case you have to call the carplounge service

Hi, you can try to connect it manually. Got into the WLan Settings of the tab and then search for the RM E...... _EXT WLan and connect to it PW is E.......... (all the numbers togehter)

yes, i takes a while before the AiO gets it's position and it works faster when taking out the Tab-Unit .... will make some test under different conditions how long it takes to figure the best way out and i wrote this "issue" to CL

nein :) um gleich beide deiner Fragen zu beantworten :/ die Reichweite vom 3d Realvision beschränkt sich immer noch auf ca 150 mtr und bis auf die "bubbles" (Objekte) hat man dort keine spiezielle Fisch/Kraut Anzeige

dazu kann ich dir tatsächlich den Sidescan mehr empfehlen ... im Grunde ist das realvision auch "nur" eine Zusammensetzung aus dem Sidescan/Downscan und Sonar und wenn man sich mit dem sidescan mal richtig beschäftigt hat (youtube videos, try and error und wenn man hat mit der winchcam Vermutungen dann bestätigt bekommt wird man eigetnlich nur noch mit sidescan fahren

you can set it in stealth mode just have a look in the settings/my rt7/aio controller there you find the button you have to press for the stealth mode
