When we say no other groups, let alone k-pop groups like BTS, this is what we mean, especially the groups that don't even write or produce their own songs and only sing and dance to the songs given by their company. BTS is built on a solid foundation of love. "I'm obsessed with making music that can resonate with people" -Bang PD. Not like some of these kpop rappers who only rap because their company told them so or because they can't sing. Big Hit Entertainment's mission statement itself is "Music and artists for healing". Glad you did this reaction so you can see more about the 7 guys who comprise BTS. J-Hope once said he thought it was Fate that brought them all together. A couple things: Korean's write their last name first, so all those that had "Kim" for example - that is their last name. So, Kim Namjoon (RM) - Namjoon is his first name. Jeon Jungkook - Jungkook is his first name. Also, the ages shown are Korean age, but International Age is roughly 2 years younger. So, when it says Jungkook joined at 15, he actually joined at 13 and debuted at 15. I can't explain it well, but basically, you're already 1 when you are born. I found BTS in May 2021 (Black Swan MV) and they are my favorite artists now. I'm in the U.S. and an older lady (Grandma fan), and officially ARMY a few months after finding them. Joined up on Weverse and recently renewed my ARMY membership. Army Forever, Bangtan Forever! More BTS please.

They count the time when a baby is in the womb as one year, so they're 1 yr old already when born. Then they add one year already to their age as soon as the new year starts in January (even if their actual birthday is still in March for example). Therefore, 2 yrs is added to their age, compared to how we usually count it 💜

This is one of my favorite channels, and I'm glad you actually took the time to read everything and get to know who they are as people, a family, musicians, artists, a group, and a source of comfort and motivation for people all over the world. I just want to put out there that Hoseok has been rapping for 12 years and is truly an incredibly unique artist with a bottomless bag of tricks. On some of his songs, you'd swear it was 4 different rappers. And the fact that he can sing and has incredible musicality from his dance background makes him a true powerhouse in the rap scene. He also has about the same amount of writing credits in BTS' music as Suga with over 130 credits. His lyrics are highly referential and full of abstract wordplay. And he sings a lot in BTS songs--he's credited in the vocal gang on like 75% of their discography and even does background vocals for other members' solos songs (like Jimin's Filter for example). Intro videos focus on his dance because he's one of the best dancers in Korea and leads BTS' performances and that's a role that deserves to be highlighted especially given BTS' reputation for phenomenal performances. But they tend to underserve him with regard to his vital role in BTS' music creation and his rap prowess. He is one of BTS' three musical pillars (along with RM and Suga, as named by their creator Bang PD). He is responsible for so much of the music we love, so many of the melodies, so many of the optimistic lyrics, so many of the dynamic bridges and I just wanted to put that out there because as good as Taylor's video is, there were like 3 total lines dedicated to his actual musical contributions and that's a damn shame. So hopefully this helps bridge that gap and puts in your head that RM, Suga, and j-hope are our Foundations Line and Musical Pillars. j-hope contributes so much to the performance, but he contributes just as much (if not more) to the MUSIC. And his delivery is next-level.

Thank you for this. Just for your own viewing purposes to see why Army loves them so much, they just released their Permission to Dance LA concert on Disney+. I would love to see you react to BTS on Jimmy Fallon week, where they did different interviews but also different performances each night. When the pandemic hit, BTS did lots of live performances at Korean national monuments to show the beauty of their country, and 2 of those performances were during Fallon week.

JIN = is funny, talkative, good at cooking, on the other side he is quiet and shy. SUGA = is cool, swag, quiet, mature, and warm. JHOPE = is bright and cheerful but he is actually serious and quiet when performing and alone. JIMIN = is cute, sexy, kind, attentive.
