Thank you for the advice. From now on, I will make sure to get two kills by 2 minutes whenever I'm going into a hard matchup. Not sure how I never thought of that one, it seems so obvious in hindsight! Also, I tried the TP/Ignite setup into a Fizz - feels pretty great.

Up the aggression. Aatrox's casts spells from far, medium and close, and the damage increases with each cast. By trying to stay outside of the range of his attacks before engaging, you make it quite easy for the enemy Aatrox to hit the sweet spots of Q1 and Q2. Ironically, it is safer to stay close during Q1 and Q2 and only retreat then, since the non-sweetspot damage is quite low, and Aatrox auto attacks are extremely slow in the early game, leading to poor damage outside of his passive aa. By going from close TO far, you cut against the natural flow of his combo, making it awkward for the enemy Aatrox to hit it. Q2 is the most vital. It is easy to hit since it can't be dodged by side strafing, and it sets up a devastating Q3. The dash enables Aatrox to hit Q2 OR Q3. If Aatrox uses his dash on Q1 against Shen, it's over for him in the trade, as shen can just stick to Aatrox like glue, avoiding Q2 in virtue of being close, and baiting then blocking Q3 completely with his W spell. The cooldown of the Q spell only starts AFTER his last cast, each cast resetting the cooldown timer. The chains are easily avoidable not by running away, but by running in past Aatrox. It is a tool to hard punish fleeing players. Aatrox is just like Shadow Fiend from Dota. You can't let him control the range during the fight, otherwise, his repeating range based spells will end you.

WTF, the Shen's W don't Block the Aatrox's Qs, just his AA and the cd of his Q start after the first cast (Q1) , it makes that Aatrox with 40 of ability haste cast his Q1, one or two seconds after cast his Q3, so if he spam his Qs in early you'll have a free trade, but in mid game it will not work.

Petu a throught thar i had after watching the first game was if you ever played pantheon? I feel like the champion has a lot of similarities with shen, but more focused on the offensive side. One main damage hability, hard cc on dash, one hability that blocks damage, and a "global" ultimate. I think it would be fun to watch you give the champion a try! Love the videos man!

The idea of leveling e rather than the r at 6 isn't a bad one, it's quite worth if it gets you ahead. So rather then spending it right away, holding it for maybe 10-15 seconds is smart. Then if an all in is possible with a confirmed kill. Level e before or during the engagement, if not level r. Fundamentals are fantastically optimized. However, nuanced matches like that third one risky plays to get even a little ahead are incredibly important.
