Hello just a warning and hopefully this helps but if you go from 370z to q50 3.7 tcm or g37 to q50 3.7 Etc. then you need to reprogram it the only way you don't have to do it is from the same year and model because every Tcm/ Valve body and it is unique to the vin of the car

Only thing you forgot is while filling up the trans to shift through all the gears and then check the overfill so all the chambers fill up. If not it will be low.

@@bossautomotive7786 I removed the valve body today- the TCM is just bolted to it. (4 or 5 hex headed bolts and i 10mm bolt. I don't feel the need to replace the large hunk of 'ported' aluminum I just ordered a rebuilt TCM for installation- (about 1/8 th the price of the new body). The car has 92k on it so- if I get a year out of the part I'll be satisfied...

@@TheDjshaun28 Amazon, I searched "ETC94-110N RE7R01A" The TCM is not all in one with the valve body it just bolts on. I just test drove the car and it's shifting normally and the dreaded P0720 is now cleared. I'm not sure if I need to get it programmed, there's no one around here that does that mobile, so it would take a trip to the dealer. Good Luck!

Same issue I cleared the code, and the car shifts past Third, but my service engine soon light came back on with the same error code p0720. The shop cleared the code, then I did it by un plugging my negative batter terminal.

@Boss Automotive Yes engine light ended up going off on its own after about 2 - 3 days.( I think it goes off after a certain amount of miles are driven, can't be sure tho.) But everything seems to be working perfect now so Def. Was the valve body. Had the same exact code as in this video as well. "P0720 Output speed sensor".

When u dropped the trans oil pan down that red white n blue wire is the output speed sensor n it goes from that side up n over to the tail side n its plug n play into the valve body so why did u replace the whole thing u pretty much did more work than u had to

Yes u guys are right BUT Everybody will get the TCM fault code U1000 The new TCM must be programmed and calibrated. Otherwise the tow mode and self learning shift will not work. Clutch compensation and adaptive shifting also not going to work. U have to use Consult 3 to update the firmware

This is actually a easy change out process, I work on my own vehicles and have done harder jobs than this. All this would take is a lift. Couple bolts unscrew and pop out and pop in 😂

P0720 with P0500 together Infiniti FSM states replace TCM after diagnostic troubleshooting. Also, you want to let your car cool off completely before draining ATF. Reason being is ATF is affected by heat, it's thinner when hot. Let it cool so almost all of the fluid will be in the pan. Also your incorrect, that is the input speed sensor. Do you have a FSM in your shop? I would recommend you read some more before you make any more videos available to view. For real
