Hey, i live in the uk and i sell on Ebay to various EU countries. Because we have now left the EU will customers in the EU have to pay extra customs fee e.t.c when we send out parcel from the uk?

Hi Daniel, yeah that's what I heard from the courier here. Customers have to pay duty on receipt. But they might not expect that and they return. So please inform them in advance

Thanks for the video Nisha. I like to ask a question .Our business supplied an equipment December last year (just before Brexit) to France. They found software problem and are sending back that equipment which is underwarranty. The goods will be sent back to France within days after reprogramming the chip. Do we still need to pay Taxes for this temporary import. Many thanks.

Hi Ravi, Unfortunately I am not an expert to advise on this. I assume if you show the bills etc, you shouldnt be liable to extra taxes. But good to check with your courier regarding this.

How about goods purchased in the EU before brexit the date , that have yet to be imported due to delays etc? I have such a package, do I need to now pay import tax even though it belongs to me before the brexit changes? very frustrating. Iv waited 1.7 years for my package due to covid and now customs have held it . what to do?

Hi, I don't think you need any extra documents. The delays are happening to everyone unfortunately. You can always check with the courier regarding any extra paper work required

@@kieranwhite4856 If your products are made in the UK, then you have Free Trade, and will not have to pay customs duty. If you are looking to supply EU, from abroad then you can get an office or warehouse in the EU and supply from there
