No. “Performance CDI’s” are NOT good, they alter the timing in your motor and throw things off causing pre-mature failure a lot of the time. That’s a beginner thing to do, “Blue performance CDI” & crap “Orange performance plug caps” Both not good

How much did you invest in these core upgrades alone? Would you recommend going with an older model so you have more money for modifications or do you recommend brand new so everything is in perfect shape? It sounds like you pretty much just keep the frame and replace most internals. Would it be that bad to buy a bike 4-5 years old used if I'm upgrading all this? Really helpful as I'm just playing around with the idea of this but not set yet.
@davidhofinger4927

From personal experience from building customers bikes with basically this same treatment, I WONT work on any bike 5+ years old because They do not take well to modifications three or four things always breaks along the way. I had two bikes at once. One of them was a year old the other one was about seven years old. The black one that was only one year old, Flawless build no hiccups. It ran like a champ afterwards. The red bike that was seven years old, How to replace fuses, battery kicker gear in the transmission intake leak and it was a smoke show That somehow ate camshafts literally ate them and disintegrated them over and over again until I put the original stock head back on. It was a mess never again. So yeah, definitely build a brand new bike or at least relatively new you won’t run into 30 different problems Overall, this bike is much more modified now it’s basically fully built down to the suspension tires so many things I spent about $1,100 and this bike is fully built now it’s a much different beast. Look at recent videos definitely worth it.

Hi I think I will try with a porting head and a cylinder with 47mm piston. I have never tried it, but looking into my intake and exhaust I can see how rough these gates are from the factory, no petrol mixture / air is happy especially under the valve. My plan is to change my valve head from the short valves of 64mm to long with 69mm. it will give me room to make a small mistake. i just need the small valve arms for 69mm. thanks for your video
@Broken_AK47
@Broken_AK47 2 жыл бұрын
oh my god the false information you have makes me shake of fear. 64 or 69mm , no gain at all. they're the same size. and a 69mm valve head is not any better than the 64. its a design thing not a performance thing. you aint gonna get anything going with 69 unless your cyinder have been designed for which is very rare. and it will only fit , not give any performance. you can , instead , go with bigger valve. wont help unless you're at 100+cc on a 50cc base, but it will help when all the most have been done ( and on a 90cc minimum. forget if you're on a 70cc bbk ). its the last thing to do. its true that more air + more fuel = more power. but you cant do more than what the engine allow. try inserting 3l of water in a 1.5l bottle. good luck. the reason we can get a bit more performance going with bigger jet is that from factory they're made for fuel economy and gov nosense crap about pollution. porting your head will in fact help. but you will never feel it not even see it on a dyno. it will help with responsiveness ( very minimal , most people dont even notice it ). but on some engine you're losing instead. those rough edge in fact help with mixture. disturb the flow a bit but help with mixture. mixture is way better than flow. its exactly the same as car. the only difference is in a car you have a big intake. on scooter we have a very small pipe that they call intake pipe. if you want REAL performance and not fake gammick, get a BBK , proper jetting , remove airbox restriction IF you have it ( rare ) and get a GOOD foam filter sheet for it ( like stage6 or really any performance foam filter sheet ) , variator, weights , contra springs and clutch springs. forget about those damn cone filter. they dont give any gain , oftten do worse , and make more noise. we're not honda kid thinking noise equal power. also keep in mind you cannot buy contra spring because you like that brand. a white malossi spring will be the same as a stage 6 green, every brand have different color. also thier stiffness ( percent or rpm ) are based on STOCK engine and transmission. so if you go bbk, forget that "+1500 rpm" or "+15%" thing. you have to play with them.

This is a known fact within the Scooter community. I hate to burst your bubble. You can go to many other forums, or the Internet or people within the community personally. But the stock analog speedometers are off, way off It said that I was doing 50 mph one in fact I was only doing 38 There is usually a double digit Difference of what you’re actually doing if you do not believe me ride by a speed trap and compare to what your Scooter is saying, or download a GPS speedometer app and record your speed there compared to what you were speedometer saying I’m sorry to inform you this that is part of the reason which motivated me to upgrade my Scooter to begin with because I actually wanted to do 50 mph lol

@davidhofinger4927 9 ай бұрын
Give it a few weeks of cruising around town and then venture out too busy roads Don’t use the front break in the rain. Use both brakes at the same time. There’s so much I can say when it comes to modifying these things you’re going to make a mistake but they’re not expensive to fix you’re going to break parts but that’s a part of the process Always use 93 octane, Replace your oil every 2000 miles on the dot. Give it a fresh spark plug every so often. Let your bike warm up for about five minutes every time unless you were just running it and it is already warm. You can ride in the rain just be twice as cautious and stay off of that front brake. There are many things I can say, but that’s what I can think of off of the top of my head

@davidhofinger4927 6 ай бұрын
@@bjmccoy5638 I am still currently in the same exact boat and that is why I ride my scooter is every day. I’m waiting to get my license back next year, lord willing. These scooters were too slow for me, especially in certain areas where I live and so I’ve always been a gearhead. I taught myself to modify these things, and they are quite easy to learn very simple machines. If you have a four stroke GY6 bike I can break it down simply for you with the maximum amount of speed that you can achieve from each (modified) displacement sized motor This is the general cap of top speed with each CC heavily modified (fully built) 50cc 39mm piston 45mph 80cc 47mm piston 50mph 90cc 50mm piston 55-57Mph 100cc 52mm piston 55-60mph That’s the 139qmb 50cc generals What you can expect from each size piston in your motor. You have a stock 39mm 50cc piston. (For now lol, IF you even have a GY6 motor let me know what you have) None of this is relevant if you don’t. Besides the “there’s no replacement for displacement” part Keep in mind that that is with a fully built transmission (CVT), Intake system, exhaust & gears. Because, like I said, in this video, there are many different things you can do in each of those things, but that is generally what you can expect mile per hour wise within the “50cc” 139QMB GY6 motor. Without having to swap motors, Only boring the internals of the top end. I hope that makes sense that is just the tip of the iceberg, but that is a very honest general expectation. Keep in mind also that acceleration for any of these things being fully built was going to be significantly faster. That is just the top speed I was talking about. Also, if you are wanting more speed, both an acceleration and TopSpeed big bore kits are a MUST There is no replacement for displacement, truest statement Both from 4 strokes & 2 strokes That speed list does NOT apply to 2 strokes CC’s though but the same concept of “there no replacement for displacement” does

I just put a 80cc big bore kit big valves and a little bit better cam on my 2016 Wolf Blaze I bought it for 500 from a little ole man that only road it to the store which was only about 3miles round trip. It had 500miles on it when I got it and it looks brand new. It's never been out in the weather. My problem is the stock carburetor mainly it has no adjustments. It absolutely sucks. lol What's the best size for what I have ??? I think you said you have a 20mm on yours. Can it handle a bigger one ??? I've watched a few of your vids. Trying to learn all I can. Yeah 20 mm carburetor works best with an 80cc Big bore. I’m going to be switching to a PWK flat slide carb next season but the only size that I can get for that is a 21 mm. Gonna have to down jet the main fuel jet. 20’s always the recommended size

why would you gain topspeed with a different belt? that makes absolutley no sense because there the torque is the lowest. If your belt would slip, then it would be a strict torque thing - meaning it affects acceleration. So that is just not true. Maybe you put different weights in at the same time and thought its because of the belt. These work like a gear ratio - meaning that lighter weights will give you more acceleration but also less topspeed.
@davidhofinger4927
@davidhofinger4927 3 ай бұрын
No maaan it’d slip where torque where was the highest point It 120% picked up ALOT of top speed from my own story’s plus countless others It just a positive thing to do for your bike for acceleration AND (depending on what’s done to your motor) Top speed
