Just a heads up, if you’re doing a contract that send the crop to the train WellPoint, you won’t get paid for the “extra” crop beyond what the contract requires so don’t put it all in the train.

actually, if you rent the train soon after using it to sell to goldcrest valley. it will stop the train and make it travel in the opposite direction from the direction you sent it in. for example in this video, you sent it going east like it normally does. if you rent it again the train will stop and reverse back to where you are standing.

I was confused at first and I was really bummed thinking I couldn’t use the train. And then I had to just walk around the train silo though and happen to figure it out myself. If I never would’ve figured it out I probably still would’ve found your video. I was just watching now just to see what you would have to say. I saw that the price was prorated as well before watching this. It’s nice if you gotta use it real quick and don’t need the full hour.

Nice torturial - one question: Is it possible to use the Silo at the train station without using the train? On hard mode the purchase of a Silo is very expensive, so if its free to use the "train Silo" I dont have to invest in a silo myself.............

How do i get vehicles on my train ... not that i really need to but i think the that would not have fit on the road anyway trophy needs me to get a harvester on there ... but cannot find ramps of stuff

Thanks great video Farmer Cop it's a different feature than fs19 but you can still use it to go off map 👍 almost like Bjornholm fs15

You never have to buy the silo property to use it but you do have to rent the train before you can use it

Thanks for the video, makes sense with those harvest contracts now. Quick question, could you hire the train and discharge directly from a harvester or auger wagon assuming that they can reach the top of the train wagons ?

@@FarmerCop Just tried it with the Case Axial 9250 and it worked fine. I drove the combine all the way to the Golden Valley silo, but if there was a flat bit of land next to a paddock, can't see why you wouldn't be able to back the train to that spot and offload the harvester. 144000l for the harvester's full hopper barely made a dent in the train's open wagon.

I am not that far into the game but as I was switching vehicles I noticed hnmmm why doesn't it let me in the trains?? ill bet it doesn't let you use trains on this game but I got thinking na no way you surely can get in a train lol well I got thinking I better look into that and came across this video. We tried hauling beets with the train from the south silo to the north silo on the french map. We could load it but it wouldn't unload. It says it was unloading but nothing happened...... Glitch, bug or impossible?

Hey quick question my trains don’t ever show up on the map. And when I rent them nothing happens except it takes money from me. I can’t find the trains

They should show up on the map and come to you after rented, it may be a glitch or a bug for you

I think convert them to bulk with a bulktrailer and then dump em on the truck side ... or you could manually load them on the flatbed...

I did exactly this except I had two Commodities to haul I filled the front car full and then I filled the back car to 54% sent the Train on its way it charged me $38,000 transport fee and I got 148,000 for selling the oats??? Did i do something wrong??? That's 38 hrs rental!!!!

May be a glitch but it bills you off of in game time I believe so make sure you slow the clock down when using the train and return it asap when your done

Hopefully someone has an answer for me. I'll preface this by saying I'm using PS5. My Goldcrest Train has only one train car usable to load my grains onto, not the 3 here in this video. Any idea why?

Every map has a different train configuration. Some maps may have more or less cars on the trains

Hi, we just bought Farming Simulator 22. There is a lot to learn! My son would live to rent the train just to drive it as he loves trains. When we rent the train we don't seem to be able to stop and start when we want to as he loses control of it once it goes a ceramic distance. He is no longer able to drive it or switch to it from another vehicle. Can you help with this?

That may be a glitch of some kind, while rented it should allow you to get in/out and start/stop as you please

Why does the train not come when I rent it I had it rented for 2 or 3 real days and it still never moved which was at 914m away

Hmm feels a bit too easy that I can store apparently unlimited amounts of stuff in trainstation silo for free and use it like own. Kinda makes buying own silos with limited capacity worthless

I used the train yesterday to haul 101kL of oats and 86kL of wheat all in one trip. It cost me $51k dollars to use the train! Holy crap

You must wait untill the train is close to the point where you want to rent it from. The closer it is the less money it will cost you

@@cinqpower I had all my commodities in the west railway silos. Rented the train right by there, then loaded the train and backed it up westbound out of the map where it came from. All of this took about 5 min. Should I be going forward, eastbound?

That is odd... I have not seen a charge that large, make sure when selling your time is lowered to be much slower
