I did a tarot card reading on my Dog Uma, I was curious to where she's from. she's NOT a normal dog, she's rather independent.. she drew the Bodhi tree . i thought how appropriate that Uma would be Buddhist.

Ajahn what the different benefit you reveive from meditation and sleeping
@marcin123456789327 жыл бұрын
There is a youtube channell AjahnBrahmRetreats where you can find talks from the retreats he was organising. He is covering vast number of topics and questions that meditators have on every stage of meditation, from beginners, to really advanced. What I learned about sleep from those videos is that when you meditate, and you're sleepy - it means you need this sleep, so go to bed and sleep! :) Ajahn even says to the people on the retreat that they should _pamper_ themselves (exactly this word he used). He emphasizes how important is to care for yourself, because if you don't, you're hurting your own health, and you may even not noticing it until it's so bad that it's impossible not to :)
