Vinny shows how meditation can provide that emotional release. This is a powerful tool that shows how letting go practice in meditation can be done quite easily. He says that we usually respond to the tightening of our bodies and minds with aggression or more tightening, but instead when we feel the contraction we can just acknowledge the tendency to cling, and instead just release. Catch, or cling, and then release, or let go. He asks: what do I have to let go of in order to be free? What belief is sponsoring this suffering? When we put our attention on this question, instead of tightening we look inward and we can feel the immediate sense of relief. Letting go has tremendous power, especially when coupled with the power of meditation practice.
