@@upstatenewyork - 'in spite of' is language in direct opposition to acceptance. To love all of you is to BE with all of you. 'In spite of' is still a rejection of that which you do not truly see as worthy of your own love - or the thought would hardly occur to you. We all do this. It's a difficult concept to meditate with, but this allows deeper insight into your own heart.
@missdaytonax4 жыл бұрын
@@upstatenewyork I like to think that it's only an emotion, an emotion experienced by every single one of us, and that it's not ME, I'm not the anger, it's just the anger that's taking place in me and in that way is a part of me - and that's ok. Then again, you don't follow it and what it's telling you, just recognize the anger, let it be, but don't let it guide you in that particular moment. You and the love you have is greater and more powerful and with that love and patience you can find the capacity to just let go of the anger in the moments when you'd for example like to do something bad. I don't like to ignore it though, I like to experience and express it, but there are so many better options, walking, dancing, writing down on paper all your honest thoughts, even the darkest ones (for instance, some ugly things you'd like to say to another person in the moments of anger). If you write them down then you can look at them with a bigger distance and actually see that hey, these words aren't actually me - and in some way you can feel liberated and pure inside. I hope some of it works for you and helps you, I just wrote down whatever came into my head hahah. Wish you a lot of peace and acceptance of whatever you find in yourself ❤

today's meditation: anxiety, overwhelmed, stuck and frozen due to work -> you don't have to radically change. you can keep being who you are. gently preserve yourself while looking towards your higher self 22/04/2023 - discomfort at night -> you deserve good things, you deserve to live life. you deserve to enjoy life 23 apr - shame, conflict, stress, overwhelm -> acknowledge this is the life of the moment. you belong, you are part of this life. you are not to control. we don't have the capacity to control life. surrender and let life flow over you. 24 apr - feeling broken -> i offer my presence. you can always rely and depend on me. i am here for you 24 apr (night) - bored and anxious -> offer acceptance that this is life in the moment. offer companionship (empowered coz rain worked) 25 apr - feeling of not being understood (-> hypno) 1 may - i'm nothing -> i deserve good things, i deserve life 7 may - I am wrong, something is wrong with me, I don’t deserve to be here -> I will let you be, be free, let others opinions flow over you

“My beloved child, break your heart no longer. Each time you judge yourself, you break your own heart. You stop feeding on the love which is the wellspring of your vitality. The time has come. Your time. To celebrate. And to see the goodness that you are. You, my child, are divine. You are pure. You are sublimely free. Let no one, no thing, no idea or ideal obstruct you. If one comes, even in the name of ‘Truth’, forgive it for its unknowing. Do not fight. Let go. You are God in disguise and you are always perfectly safe. Do not fight the dark. Just turn on the light. Let go and breathe into the goodness that you are.” Swami Kripalvanandaji (Bapuji) as copied from “Radical Acceptance: Embracing Your Life with the Heart of a Buddha” by Tara Brach
