Today my nephew was buried after committing suicide. I couldn't be there as his funeral was in Sydney and I'm in England . . . so I meditated on your words. "A Meditation on joy?" some might think, and I did go into this meditation in floods of tears, but not only did I find that joy within your words, I found peace and love, and I know, deep within my heart, that he too has now found peace and love . . . and joy, in the everlasting! His tormented soul is now with Love Himself. How very grateful I am to you right now. Very grateful. ❤

I walked off my job least year as a ups person. Went through a mindfulness based program for depression and anxiety. One day while in the program I realized I no longer felt joy. Wanted it back! Went back to work and your guided mediation for anxiety got me thru to 3/26/15. My last day at UPS. Now as a retired person, I'm getting my joy back. Thank you for your guided meditations, they have helped me remain sane in a crazy world. With joy in my heart I now move on to the next moment, one moment at a time choosing joy.

I normally don't comment here but this is the best guided meditation I've ever come across. I think about it in every day life just to access that feeling of joy! Truly special. Such profound wisdom shared, and executed perfectly.

I've been using this meditation for years. I am bad at sticking to a habit for very long but every time I get back to meditation I begin here, where I began years ago. And it always feels like the right starting place. Thank you so much for this

I listen to many different guided meditations and I like few. But this is ONE OF THE BEST meditation. I am not kidding I felt like I am floating ❤ the calmness in your voice is so soothing 🥹 Wish to listen to this once again for the first time

This one is perfect. I feel so calm and out of my head. Found joy for simply having a beating heart. That’s the point you don’t need an excuse to feel what is inside of you. Just need to open your heart to it

Honestly, I don't understand how you make such honest and well made meditations. Everything is good, the sound, the aesthetics, and of course the meditation itself is really well structured and carried out beautifly. Really brilliant videos.

This is the first time in years . I can meditate in the summer . I find it hard as there so much going on. I was getting frustrated trying to find my centre . And had to wait until winter . This guy is amazing. It's likel he understands your thought process . Before you do . I'm off for two months vacation . I shall be practising his meditations .

I am just amazed by the anonymous self-help hero's amazing audio recordings. He is an incredibly gifted meditation guide. His voice is utterly unpretentious and his care is a undeniably of great compassion, concern, and love for people. His productions have a D.I.Y. feel that is so refreshing and convincing.

my old refrain was that i couldnt use guided meditations. i have profound gratitude for this one teaching me that that statement was inaccurate! i was brought to tears of profound joy, and immense peacefulness. thank you !!!

I've been having a really difficult time with my depression and OCD and this was amazing. Is it normal to get teary eyed when doing this sort of thing? A happy teary of course. Because I totally was. thank you

Yes! I thought about all the gratitude I have for living in this world and how I was given this life for the purpose of bringing good to this world and i got teary as well. Honestly one of the best parts of meditation

Pretty good! Not too long. I was looking for something shorter than the 40 minutes by Jon Kabat-Zinn. I've been practising mindfulness for almost five months now. My mind doesn't race anymore like before and I catch myself fretting most of the time. :) I like the theme of joy! Thank you...

@mindfulpeace, your mindfulness videos are great, by far the best I've found on KZbin. Like a few of the other commenters here I listen to them almost everyday... But there's only two videos! I'm sure you have a lot of commitments and other things happening in your life, but I for one, would be really grateful if you'd share some new meditations with us. I hope your can find the time. If you are someone who has anxiety or depression and you are at your all time low. Know that you are not alone. I know the symptoms are both bizarre and overwhelming. You are bedridden at days at the time. Know that as someone who´s been there, things WILL get better. A little time passes and you will begin to enjoy every moment of life more. The fist steps to getting better is self-help. Watch some videos of other people who are in the same shoes as you.

Wonderful meditation, thank you. Depending on my mind-state/mood I am not always able to cultivate a lot of joy, it depends. But even a whiff of it is good. I also am finding that simply feeling "good in the body" (or just finding some part of the body that feels good or uplifted as it relaxes) helps me pair that feeling with a sense of pleasure...and this itself can help radiate simple joy and happiness. In other words, it doesn't always have to start from the heart area..it can be from anywhere that I feel peaceful and good. I've been trying to apply this more attention-minded meditations like mindfulness of the breath, so that the concentration itself can cultivate a sense of peacefulness and joy.

Please could you do a meditation for those of us who on an unconscious level don’t think we deserve joy? Due to past traumas it seems on some level I don’t, and I procrastinate on things I enjoy until the time is past that I could do the thing. I can’t afford therapy, but this is so upsetting after everything, to not be able to do the things that would help me feel happier, I hope that makes sense? I love your meditations, thank you 🙏🏼

Thank you so much for your wonderful meditations. This is the 2nd I have done in two days and it really did make me feel relaxed. As my eyes are closed and I do reach a deep state of relaxation, it is very difficult to know when the meditation is over. Thus, I find myself "peeking" and this does sort of take away from the experience. Would it be possible to maybe ring a bell to signify the end of the meditation or perhaps guide us back to reality with your voice? It would really make it easier to know when to start coming back to reality. Again, thank you so much for your hard work and for your generosity in sharing your videos. xoxoxo
