I may even come back. cata's story may have been a let down after wrath, but it was the absolute peak of class mechanics in this game. and most of the end game zones were actually interesting to explore and look at. decently challenging dungeons and raids. cata was always my favorite expansion

No one is talking about the little changes like the Deathcharger DK Mount and Crimson Deathcharger´s Movement animation are changed in cata, I love the wotlk animation its different then other Horses. :(

If you get a full plate outfit for Transmog. Would you be able to equip that look to say, a Mage? Or does transmog only work with outfits that a character would normally be able to wear? I started in Classic WoW so Wrath is the farthest I've played so far. Also, do you think we can use our 70 Boost in Cata on a Goblin or Worgen since its not the Cata Boost? Awesome video, by the way!

Can only mog armor types your character can wear. No plate on a cloth class or anything like that. Same with weapon types

@@AaronW0885 I wasn't sure if you could just use the design of the transmog from other characters. A bit of a shame. I would love to rock full plate gear on my Mage (even if I was actually wearing cloth lmao).

@@astupidmonkeyygaming544 There's an effort in the transmog community to make sets that are actually cloth or mail that does look like it'd be plate or anything else. But it's obviously limited by the virtue that most armor looks like it's the type it really is. If you look them up there might be something you can grind for that almost achieves what you were aiming for. a primary issue with unrestricted mogging comes with game readability. If we can't use what we see in the game without interfaces and tooltips, then the game kind of becomes a complete mess visually. It helps to be able to tell what you're about to run into in PVP by the way they look rather than being expected to mouse over and read their info to get an idea. Classes with pets are usually quickly and easily identified, you can also use the resource bar under their name for another hint too, But it'd be a shame to live in a world where the way a character looks is so divorced from the reality of what they can do.

@@TheWowzz people hated cata because of the giant content droughts. The balance issues, and rushed storyline.. Wrath was beloved because of arthas, and the zones.. cata didnt bring new zones, just a revamped azeroth, so it didnt really feel new.

@@juanticimo Cata does bring new zones, and the Azeroth revamp should absolutely count for this. Just because some players never leveled an alt doesn't mean the dev work that went into it was wasted. It didn't bring a new land mass like Northrend, Pandaria or the Broken Ilses. If you want that to be the technicality by which you can say 'no new zones', then fine. It's just objectively untrue to say Cata didn't bring a new zone at face value.

Yo! Do you remember when you said that Felsteel Longblades might not sell? I am now selling them with 10k each like cakes and it is not even the pre patch. The interesting part is also the fact that Eternium/Fel Iron or even Felsteel bars can be barely found at the AH so i am mostly the only one that can craft and sell them since i have stocked up months ago. p.s. the price was 2k to craft them when i have stocked up

Honestly SoD got boring real quick because it was supposed to be something new and fun but they ruined it in Phase 1 by making all the fun shit gated behind levels. The old zones in Azeroth are getting touched up for a much improved quality of gameplay. There's a xp requirement squish in the Wotlk level range of like 68-80 that should make leveling without Joyous Journeys a lot less of a stressful concept too.

Cata will be great IF.........they actually put some effort in it after launch. I have a feeling it will be neglected hard with SoM & War Within being so popular. I am hoping for the best but the PTR "testing" was a disaster (unplayable). I pray they don't ruin this great expansion. I do like the faster schedule but the bugs have to be fixed. I think Cata will be the last expansion of this journey, lets go!

It's looking like we're getting Cata Minus. If something isn't going to start working with what little dev time they have they have shown that they aren't going to delay for it. They're either going to fix it later or leave it out all together. Guild levels, Have group will travel, Mass Rez, Cash flow, they're not trying to give us the cata experience we want. They're trying to give us the cata experience they can deliver on minimum investment (from my point view, limited to no real knowledge of the industry side of classic) Even quality of life things like Hunter pet changes such as their assist mode and switching without stable.

No RDF, a need to actually go out to the locations in the game to get quests, open world difficulty in the leveling that requires a group for many things (not complexity, difficulty). They are adding retail like systems but the important aspects to me are there (the fun item interactions, the gearing systems, and most importantly no RDF).

@@hurion I think there are a group of people that started playing Wow in wrath and cataclysm, and consequently wanted to play the old version of the game and we’re excited for classic… But when it actually came out, they realized that they didn’t play that old version of the game and they actually prefer a more modern style MMO. And so the hype they have for cata is jarring compared to the much larger positive reception of SoD. Most of the SoD criticism I have seen has come from the perspective of cataclysm is better as opposed to there’s anything particularly wrong with SOD… the incursions are probably the only odd decision I’ve seen thus far…

Cata is definitely classic, wod is when the game turned newscool with the class and ability changes. I agree wotlk server would be good but same goes for tbc, every tbc enjoyer got forced into wotlk as well. Just play on private servers for free like Warmane
