When fighting titans I typically switch to my ‘mosquito’ load out which is cloak, low profile, with softball, and charge rifle with charge hack and extended ammo. I prefer said load out because it limits the titan’s visibility of you and you can get really annoying. (I have had multiple entire teams invite me into an Xbox party to try and trash talk me)

From your comment my takeaway for newer players is that you can change classes mid battle. People forget - including me - that you should try to change your pilot killing load out for your titan killing load out, when there is titan dominance on the enemy team. Also, is charge hack actually good? Especially since you're using cloak that looses invisibility from fired shots. However, charge hack is fun to play. "teams invite me into an Xbox party to try and trash talk me". Yeah, that also happened to me many times. Like they don't see the reason for me sweating that game was due to their synchronous titan drops. And then there is their usual counterargument being "We just want to have fun. Why do you care if we have fun in this old game?". My brother in Christ! I care because you're taking my fun out of the game. (Of course these aren't the exact words that they used, but it is similar in message). Anyway's, maybe I am toxic for sweating the game and at the end of the day I can't control their actions.

@@onemanarmyb charge hack is effective at being a mosquito because you can enter, zap, leave without using cloak. The softball is good to lob over buildings, and cloak is used to get out of sticky situations or waiting for your titan after pulling a battery. Those are my main tactics with this loadout (also your point is completely valid, everyone’s fun is different and I find fun in just relaxing and moving. But I don’t find fun in moving 24/7 while on stimx10000 with a car and using monarch)

@@WorstHour I feel like you can also quickly peak with the base charge rifle if you feather the trigger. But, to not sound like a contrarian all the time let me reconsider my last point of view. Since, the guide is for newer players, feathering the trigger isn't a given skill they might have. So the charge rifle hack would train them well in the peak a boo gameplay. Or as you call it mosquito ... warfare( mosquito didn't feel like a complete phrase)? My overall script currently is shaping up to be mostly about anti titan weapons and how you approach titans with those weapons (from the commenter Quaki below).

@@onemanarmyb yes, the ability to peek, see, and then shoot without risking that much is still good for a mediocre damage loss

Tip 4 titan v pilot: Always keep at least 10 meters away from an opposing titan. Never stop running. Always have highground. Never attack head-on.
@onemanarmybАй бұрын
Good tips. Highground depends on the map, but I agree. You also gave me another indirect tip from the subtext. Never assume the newer pilots know the basics. Like never attacking head-on seems very obvious to me, but titanfall isn’t like other games. There are many ways to approach a fight with pilot movement that newer pilots don’t consider. Great! Also, I posted this at 4 am on EST. So you either live in a different time zone or you woke up early. Either way, I appreciate the early comment.

Tip: as best as you can, as a pilot, never approach a titan from the ground, even if you're invisible, and even if you're approaching from behind. If that Titan dashes backwards, you're roadkill. And even if you're invisible and using the low profile kit, your movement will still kick up. I can't how many times I've used dust to kill pilots whi thought they were being sneaky
