Man shout out to Kounde. That man has been our best defender this season, matter of fact he’s been one of our most consistent players in general. I’m glad to hear that he is content with playing RB. Honestly he’s one of the best RB’s itw currently and it’s not even his main position. I can’t believe we thought about selling him, he needs to stay here for many more years.

It is Xavi that couldn’t imagine a team without Busquets. Remember that he always played with that, and with pacy and creative forwards ahead. He does not know how to compose a different tune with what he has. Hopefully Flick has that versatility, since we are unlikely to get Onana, Zubi or Kimmich(who isn’t a pivot anyway).

RL9 can “feel good” but you can see he’s not the same and aging through his game. He’s the top scorer because he’s the No. 9 and that’s his job, he yells at everyone when they don’t give him the ball and gets annoyed but he also misses a lot of opportunities that he would have in the bag 2-3 years ago. He is exhausted by the 60th minute but doesn’t like being subbed off for fresh legs or a change in style. It’s the same as CR7. Always yelling and complaining at his teammates and claiming he is still the best player in the world and that he can continue going for many more years….. but when you watch him it’s blatantly obvious he can’t keep up anymore. RL9 (like CR7) needs a reality check. He’s not worth 30+ million a year and needs to accept that he needs reduced minutes and to help build up Giui and Roque. We’re in the position we are because we let Jordi, Pique, Puyol, Mascherano, Dani Alves, Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets, etc, etc, etc go or retire without passing the torch and buying players to replace them instead of building our talent.

Sorry, but Lewa is slowing. He does drop off at the end of matches despite his fitness. His first touch has been inconsistent and his timing and finishing has been sub par. Barca shouldn’t trigger his auto renew next season unless he is crushing the goal charts next year.
