Guillermo always says he's a child and you can really see it in this video. He's not a child because he likes toys or ultraman, but because he stills has the heart of one. I really love how he reacts when he sees the kaiju (sorry, didnt catch up the name), he knows its a dude in a suit but he acts like he's the real thing, cause he hasnt lost that childlike imagination

Apson the love someone has for something of pop culture (like his love for Kaiju movies) is something people might not understand unless they have a passion for it as well. it's not that this person is a child it's just that they have a lot of heart for what they love... and that's something that should always be appreciated... so long as it doesn't go too far of course.

To me Pacific Rim is an underrated gem that deserves more attention. I mean people always waiting for the next Marvel or Star Wars movies, but me, I'm just waiting for the new Pacific Rim movie. Yes there is another one, Pacific Rim Uprising, but it doesnt have that magic that I feel in the first one. I don't hate it, but I know it can be better. And I hoping for the third Pacific Rim movie will be as awesome as the first one.

Guillermo Del Toro is one of us. He loves giant monster and robots movies, loves watching them, loves toys and comics. He creates these creatures and robots for Hellboy and Pacific Rim movie because he loves what he is doing. He always had that child curiosity. What more can you ask? This man is talented and love his creature designs. They're scary, realistic and everything is an original design unlike some studios. (LOOKING AT YOU DISNEY STAR WARS AND MARVEL!!!)

I’m a huge Godzilla/ Ultraman. Del Toro captured the spirit of those franchises perfectly for Pacific Rim more so than the monsterverse films.

There's the option to translate the auto generated japanese subs into English, although is not that good, it misses most of the lines. But at least you get to understand a bit of what they're saying (like at the end the male presenter said something about many people growing up watching those Kaiju shows but he was impressed on how Guillermo used them as inspiration to fuel his own imagination; or something like that is what I understood).
